No worries! A woman boarded a plane and, before takeoff, announced to the whole plane that she was getting off because she had looked at the person next to her and seen something that made her feel he wasn’t really a human. She was adamant that everyone should get off the plane because something bad was going to happen. She repeated that “the mfer is not real” several times. The clip of her speaking to crew and passengers lasts a couple of minutes. The clip never showed who she was so spooked about, so we could use our imagination.
Her conviction, her attractiveness, her obvious fear, her masterful use of profanity, her behavior as a normal person who sees something very scary and is compelled to get the hell out of there, and her altruistic willingness to embarrass herself by warning everyone they are in danger, all combined to catapult her to fame.
The genius is we never see what caused her behavior. We all fill in the blank. The catch phrase that sums up the incident, and many incidents in our own lives, is “that mfer is not real!” Or tmfinr, for short.
