This is becoming like Passion of the Christ all over again.
I can't wait to see the MSM hatred in upcoming articles and interviews.

expect an epidemic of aircon failures in select theatres
Love it!
Theaters that are showing it want to. It’s an independent film so they don’t have to show it.
Went to see it todsy, AC was fine.
Took my daughter to see it last night. Theater was packed. Film was excellent and one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. I highly recommend it. Jim Caviezel’s message at the end of the credits was powerful.
It is incomprehensible that anyone would disapprove of this movie and its message. To do so would be to approve of child trafficking and sexual exploitation; who would do that?!??
The children in this movie were splendid! And adorable.
The evil traffickers were also good actors. How could they possibly be so convincing? Yessica Borroto Perryman was especially effective.
Note tagline.
I don’t understand why the liberal view is that we are supposed to disparage this film.
Doesn’t everyone, even liberals oppose sex trafficking? Doesn’t everyone, even liberals believe it’s reprehensible?
So if everyone believes sex trafficking is bad, and this movie tells the true story of a man who was fighting back against sex trafficking, what exactly is the objection to this movie?
Rented that it’s a tough subject to discuss , but it tells the true story of someone who is fighting against a criminal element.
I’m sure I’m missing something. Is part of the objection that Jim Caviezel played the part of Christ in The Passion of the Christ ,and he actually is a Christian himself?
Which would then translate into a viewpoint that this individual cannot produce or be involved with anything that is worthwhile?
It is becoming more and more obvious that the Democrat Party has descended into depravity.
"Nefarious" got similar treatment but since it was more theological and religious in nature, they could more easily dismiss and bury it as just a "Christian movie". Glenn Beck's appearance in it helped them a bit as well.
All the actors in this movie were great, but the children were exceptional. I want to describe the little girl in a key scene late in the movie, but if I did, I would be giving a spoiler.
The story (plot) was fast paced and never boring.
The speeches given by various characters describing why they were involved in this work were compelling.
The music was beautiful and right on point.
The cinematography, especially in the jungles in Columbia was fantastic.
I would say if you have a fast-paced story with good acting, music and cinematography, you probably have a pretty good film.
I agree. The actors playing the villains performed their roles extremely well. They deserve special recognition for talking on a difficult role; making it believable; in a movie Holloywood blocked distribution of for five years.
Wife went to see it yesterday. AC was fine. Have to lift rocks to see what objects to the film.
To do so would be to approve of child trafficking and sexual exploitation; who would do that?!??
PTL!
Took my family this afternoon.
Completely sold out.
Will have to try next weekend.
The theaters all want to show it - they don’t care who pays them the $$$.
What they don’t want to do is get caught promoting it.. they will get in trouble with the woke police.
You won’t see it on their marquees or billboards - but they were very happy to take our money, sell us popcorn and and point us to the right theater!
I don’t think the owners of these corporations actually support the woke agenda - it’s just that there are NGO’s ranking and scoring - and they try to shame the corporation by publicizing their ‘failures’ to be woke - their lawyers advice them to go along in order to avoid being smeared.
It’s blackmail - just like a celebrity or billionaire will pay to keep an accuser silent even though they are innocent.
How does it compare to 2000 Mules? For anyone who has seen both?
2000 mules is a documentary and feels very political. This movie is a drama and it does not feel political at all.
a small local theater is going to have it for a week. That is where we plan on going to see it. They are advertising it.
