so the new deal between lawyers gives immunity for taxes on certain years and the gun charge, but not for charges on anything else.
Newsmax is reporting the judge is asking Hunter about previous employment, time of Burisma. Related to taxes, I assume.

Fox News reporting that Hunter Biden’s plea deal is being questioned by judge. Judge asked the prosecution if there was an ongoing existing investigation into Hunter Biden and they said yes. Judge querying if she can accept a guilty plea because it would give Hunter immunity to future charges. Judge asks does the ongoing probe involve FARA. Prosecution did not answer. Judge began by questioning whether pleading guilty to two tax misdemeanor could be tied to the diversion on gun charge.

Really insulting to the court that Biden DOJ and Hunter’s attorneys thought the judge would rubberstamp this corrupt plea deal.
The gun possession charge is what irks me. I’m hearing the judge agrees. Not only waS his possession a felony, but it was disposed of by a school. Anyone else would be in jail.
People are literally running out of the courthouse.
The judge will not accept the plea deal because of the gun charge.
Now being reported Hunter is pleading not guilty. The judge asked very good questions, especially the diversion clause. Said the prosecutors asked her to do their job.
Hunter’s lawyers thought he had gotten away with everything.

🚨 BREAKING UPDATE: Before Hunter Biden’s plea deal collapsed, Federal Judge Maryellen Noreika asked the case’s top prosecutor if the deal meant Hunter would be IMMUNE from prosecution for other possible crimes—including those related to representing foreign governments.
The prosecutor said NO, then one of Hunter’s attorneys jumped up and said “then there’s no deal!”
Reporters present in the courtroom have said the judge seemed highly skeptical of the “unusual deal” from the get-go, as it offered Hunter Biden BROAD immunity from prosecution in perpetuity.
The judge questioned why it was filed under a provision that gave her no legal authority to reject it. She then asked Leo Wise, the top prosecutor, if there was any precedent for that kind of deal being proposed.
He replied, “No, your honor”
