PING!...................
It got ate by a megalodon.
My guess is they are fish food, they keep on talking about “Pinging” every 30 minutes..reminds me of MH370 they heard “Pinging” too which amounted to nothing the sub probably is stuck in the wreckage of the Titanic
It had/has a lot of nothing
I thought all vessels had to be certified by the coastguard or government they are registered with.
I was rooting for a happy ending, until I saw the clip of the president saying he didn’t want to ‘hire a bunch of 50 year old white guys with military submarine experience’ - now I hope the sub, and the company disappears forever.
Go woke, go croak.
They were waiting for Home Depot to restock them
Well, those aboard volunteered, so there’s that. I wonder who is paying for the millions to send in the recovery vessels.
If the sub didn’t implode and it’s stuck down there, it’s gotta be hellish for the passengers.
Little light, not much water or food and slowly declining levels of oxygen, tight quarters with little room to move, etc.
How awful!
The most SOLID thing about this whole story is that it was enclosed with 17 (Seventeen) Bolts.
What kind of ELT would be able to transmit through 13,000 feet of ocean?
the US Navy has huge land-based antennae and very low frequency systems to communicate with submarines - which at operate at hundreds of feet. Nothing even close to these depths.
My question is after 3-4 days, what about the poop and pee in the sub? What does that thing smell like right about now?
I posted a link to this video earlier. The fifty year old submariner at The Sub Brief goes over what he sees as several single points of failure in the photos and available literature. He also shows the CEO making the statement about not wanting any old white guys working for him. Overall, the CEO comes across as the kind of idiot who gets people who believe in him killed.

Without Safety Bacon you can’t even eat properly.
Two new adjectives to add to my vocabulary. LOL.
Never ceases to amaze me how stupendously dumb wealthy people are.
The ‘’couldn’t change a light bulb’’ type.
“offers chartered trips TO the wreckage”
looks like they got what they paid for to me .......
That's the buried lead, so to speak: Even if rescuers locate Titan in next 5 minutes, they have no means of hoisting Titan to the surface; the mini-sub has to use the equipment on the platform it went down on to bring itself to the surface, something those on board presumably have tried but, appears thus far, are unable to do. Facts foretell tragedy unfolding followed by big lawsuit.
Lost?? It’s NOT Lost, they went down to see the Titanic, They are on it right now, probably sitting on the bow in their sub...
The CEO, Founder, and man responsible, is on board, his last hours must be filled with some harsh criticisms from the customers.
“Stockton Rush, founder of the company that owns the missing submersible visiting the Titanic wreckage, has said safety is “pure waste”.
