That's the buried lead, so to speak: Even if rescuers locate Titan in next 5 minutes, they have no means of hoisting Titan to the surface; the mini-sub has to use the equipment on the platform it went down on to bring itself to the surface, something those on board presumably have tried but, appears thus far, are unable to do. Facts foretell tragedy unfolding followed by big lawsuit.

Who are they gonna sue? It’s a startup that has made zero profit, and the CEO and one of their backers is on the bottom of the ocean.
