Anheuser-Busch has recorded another drop in sales of Bud Light as the boycott over its partnership with transgender social media star Dylan Mulvaney continues.
Sales of the beer dropped 23.9 percent for the week ending May 27 compared to the same time last year - though that was a slight improvement from last week when sales were down 25.7 percent.
Bud Light also lost nearly 28 percent in year-on-year volume for the week ending May 27.
The smaller decline in Bud Light sales could be a sign that the 'bottom has been hit' for the company and it could see a 'turn-around in performance,' according to Bumps Williams Consulting's monthly industry report.
Anheuser-Busch's other flagship beer, Budweiser, also recorded a drop of 8.5 percent, while Natural Light and Stella Artois saw a 1.5 percent to three percent drop, according to Newsweek.
Meanwhile, the company's top competitors saw an increase in sales as beer drinkers switched brands.
Coors Light went up 26.3 percent, while Miller Lite went up 23.1 percent. Yuengling saw the biggest increase at 36.3 percent, while Modelo Especial saw the smallest increase at 9.5 percent.
Bud Light and Modelo are both owned by Anheuser-Busch parent company AB InBev.
The beer company saw sales begin to plummet in early April after Mulvaney, 26, appeared on a beer can to celebrate her 365th day of girlhood - a TikTok series she became popularized by.

Dump AH Stock now..........
Perhaps they can bring back Spuds Mackenzie
Forbes is saying this is a good time to buy AB stock.
I don’t believe it, nor would I want it.
They have shot themselves in the foot.
AB will be fine. But they may have to destroy the Bud Light brand.
Yuengling just continues to increase market share. Amazing.
Targeted weaponized boycotts work.
AB was doing poorly before this boycott. I have no faith in them.
I look for other beer companies to rise up and become successful.
Those who drink alone will be hoarding cases of Bud Light.
It’s the cheap alcohol they are after, even if that means drinking it out of a penis shaped can.
Cut the price in half and watch it disappear out the back door.
They have many brands.
And this is AFTER AB was giving away Bud Light.
Bud Light has gone light.
And the ugly, lefty marketing exec. chick responsible for the Mulvaney ad is still on leave and hasn’t been fired.
I’m not surprised.
I’ve been casually observing the activity in the beer aisle of my grocery store on my weekly trips. For a while, you could see that the Bud products just weren’t moving, while Miller, Coors and especially Yuengling seemed to be selling quite robustly.
Finally, in the past couple of weeks, the Bud presence has been vastly diminished to almost nothing while Yuengling has gained much more space in both the refrigerated and unrefrigerated beer sections. Coors and Miller have also increased their footprints and the craft beers have remained about the same.
It’s brewed with rice. Advertised right on the box. That isn’t beer - it’s sake.
They keep calling it a boycott. It may be a boycott by some, but really it’s more of an affinity thing. They destroyed the perception of the brand among its core drinkers. I bet most of them don’t care about Dylan Mulvaney; they just don’t associate themselves as that kind of person so they don’t drink that kind of person’s beer. It’s very simple.
They should’ve stuck with the Clydesdales.
Forbes sounds like Cramer.
I do like Yuengling but I am considering dropping it as well.
They are a big contributor to LGBT pride week.
AB makes Natural Light which was already about half the price of Bud Light before this "brew haha"
...out the back door
Ummm... No comment.
It’s also a government satisfaction boycott, like the Boston Tea Party. It’s the problem root.
