A Burger King customer allegedly threw a milk bottle at an employee in midtown Omaha after reportedly being informed the order was $1 less than expected.
Around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, the employee was working the drive-thru at the fast food restaurant located at 5155 Center St., Omaha police reported. A customer, described as a middle-aged White woman with gray hair, pulled into the drive-thru in a white Dodge Caravan with Iowa license plates and was originally told the order would be about $8, according to a police report.
When the customer pulled up to the window, the employee handed them a small bottle of milk and told them the order was about $7. The employee told police the customer seemed upset by the lower-than-expected total and responded by throwing the milk bottle back, striking the employee in the chest. The employee was not injured.
The employee told police the customer drove off without paying for or receiving the food order. The restaurant’s security cameras recorded video of the incident.

Why did the reporter use the pronoun "them" to refer to a lone woman, and why did the copy editor not correct the error? Idiotic, as is capitalizing "White".

Wrongly attributed or not, the underlying truth is still valid. Newspapers and most of the mainstream media report what are partial truths, but omitting much valid and applicable information which changes the reporting almost to the point of propaganda, and not news.
Just propagating the horror of it all.

Who really things for a minute that the evil news media would have printed “a middle-age BLACK woman”.
This is how we know the subject of a story is almost always black or Hispanic when not otherwise stated. Mostly black.
Or you could just read the second paragraph.

Why does the article tell us the woman is “White”?
Because that fact is a surprise to those who follow the news a lot. The article rushes to brand the woman as White so that we won’t think what we’d be tempted to think.
The Omaha world herald what’s upon a time was a very conservative newspaper. And then Warren the baby killer Buffett aquired it and now it’s a liberal mouthpiece rag.
She got enough of my money to do just that.
