NYC women wearing baggy ‘subway shirts’ over clothes to deter train creeps

Summer is just around the corner, which means New Yorkers are baring arms — and legs, shoulders and abs.

But many young women are also packing a defense for deterring creepy dudes: the subway shirt.

Alternatively known as a modesty shirt or outfit dampener, it’s a baggy, longer layer that can be thrown over more fitted or revealing clothes to avoid harassment underground.

“As we come out of winter, people act like they’ve never seen a woman before,” Grace Masingale told The Post.

The 22-year-old social media manager from the Upper East Side has had her fair share of harassment by men on the train, who have said everything from “I would like to see what’s underneath that” to “Your breasts are so perky.” Once, she was even followed out of the 23rd Street station on the 1 line.

So now she dons a light sweater over her clothes when she leaves the house, in the hopes of drawing less attention to herself, and takes it off at her destination

Ladies of NYC, catcalls from men is nothing new, it's been going on ever since Adam & Eve.

But since all of a sudden you *think* it's something new in NYC, here's a simple solution:

STOP voting Democrat. Right now and in the future.

Democrat politicians in NYC do NOT have your interest at heart, and they never did. Their interest is only in POWER for themselves.

Wear as much flunky looking clothing as you like, but it won't stop pervs in the subway nor Democrat politicians who champion such pervs in the subway.

They're fooling nobody but you.

This is the woman in the article, after taking off her "subway shirt." That top is certainly an attention-getter. Not saying she's a prostitute but certainly she's trying to make herself attractive to men. Not that there's anything wrong with that. For example, as a man, I try to make myself more attractive to women. When riding the trains in NYC, I much prefer a woman sitting next to me so I make sure I don't look like a sloppy bum that they would want to avoid.

I would definitely not mind this woman sitting next to me, subway shirt or no subway shirt. I would certainly not harrass her however (or any woman). I just like to be next to pretty women.

The gist of my OP is that these NYC women continue to vote for the likes of AOC, Bill deBlasshole, Jabba Nadler and their ilk in thinking that these cheap politicians have something good to offer, when all they ever deliver is just more and more hack political woe and misery.

It's somewhat amusing, but sad, that nothing ever changes in their thinking and voting habits.
