The Codex Sassoon, believed to date from the late 9th or early 10th century, was bought at Sotheby’s by the American Friends of the ANU — Museum of the Jewish People.
The oldest near-complete Hebrew Bible sold at Sotheby’s for $38.1 million on Wednesday, one of the highest prices for a book or historical document ever sold at auction.
The volume, known as the Codex Sassoon, includes all 24 books of the Hebrew Bible, minus about eight leaves, including the first 10 chapters of Genesis. Researchers have dated it to the late ninth or early 10th century, making it the oldest near-complete Hebrew Bible known to exist.

Wow.
I clicked on the article before realizing that it was from the NY Times.
Now I question it’s accuracy.
Cool! What translation did they use for Isaiah 7:14? ;)
Buyer’s premium:

On May 17, Tel Aviv’s ANU–Museum of the Jewish People bought Codex Sassoon for $33.5 million at Sotheby’s auction house in New York.
(Although the Hebrew volume is a higher price, the da Vinci manuscript is pricier when adjusted for inflation; with the buyer’s premium, a charge in addition to the hammer price, the sale totaled $38.1 million.)

I’m a Christian like you, but IMHO Isaiah 7:14 is a bad argument for saying the OT prophesied Jesus. The word “al-maw” in that verse translated to “virgin” has multiple literal definitions, including “young woman” or “marrying age woman”.
More difficult is “hara” “is pregnant.”
Funny you should ask. I had hit the Sotheby's site at 14:06 EDT and there was some misc. background chatter as it was still live, but then it ended. All done already.
I was late going over there because [on a seemingly unrelated topic] I was busy looking over the Kaduri note, and comparing the Preamble to the US Constitution, anu ha-am, specifically the "anu", we.
This morning I had remarked so someone that it will be interesting to see who's the buyer.
"ANU".
Well, you know how it goes concerning the r"t of the Mashiach:
"The people (ha-am) will rise and prove that his (their) word and his (their) Torah stands."
Ha-am is singular, so there's a double option on the antecedent.
The people or their national personification, so to speak. Always good intel standing tall at the Davidson Center.
"USA". 363 "HaMashiach" ft. high.
Columbia the CM is the "dove", because the little book of Jonah is a short work on a particular subject (you). The You Essay.

Yeah, ya know, Christians like you need an English translation, right? /s
What they don’t know is that typical Pesach (Passover) food shopping is about $38M.

All Christians are the true Israel, right? Who owns the Temple Mount?
People sign up for missions and then they can't back out when it's not what they could have ever imagined in the wildest dreams.
I mean someone's got to stop the plague, because there's so much bad intel out there. That stuff is entrenched.

I mean just look at the sign, how it reads straight across: anu ha-am, like the famous first words I was looking at while the auction was in progress.

You've no doubt read the account of the priests in the wood storage area, the one noticing that a paver (cf. 'continuum') was an odd one out from the others. It was the tipoff to the location of the *ארה"ב* that was lost in a US government warehouse, swallowed up by acronyms.
Odd one out. Makes plain sense, "OUTATIME":
