I never heard of it.
I thought it was Chinese.
But it’s not.
“ Yuengling is an Anglicized version of Jüngling, its founder’s surname and the German term for a “young person” or “youngster”.”
Oldest beer company in US.

Yunengling should put this on the front of their cans ... I bet they might get a lot more share of the business.

If I were ABs competition I’d be handing out coupons for a free six of my beer every time I saw someone not buying an AB beer. A lot of drinking is by habit, we get used to drinking a particular beverage, well start getting used to drinking something else.

Fantastic. Now thats what a “Marketing Professional” does. Not offend and blow away 25% of your product sales.

An anecdotal story, was at the local supermarket and the local BUD distributor guy was stocking the shelf, he had maybe 8 12 packs, when 2 months ago, he would have a whole pallette.
I asked him if sales were down, and he said yes. Nice guy felt sorry for him.

I just looked up Yeungling on Wikipedia. All this time I thought it was a Chinese name. The Wikipedia page says it is an Anglicized version of the German name Jüngling. That’s kind of weird to Anglicize a German name like that.
To: Morgana
Unfortunately Yuengling is not sold in Michigan. Tried to get the Selfridge BX to order a keg and they said they couldn’t. Bummer.
To back this up I somehow ended up with an empty Yuengling can, when I tried to get the deposit it was rejected.
To: Morgana
and it’s damned good beer to boot.

Now THIS is how you do a marketing campaign if you want to capture a large segment of the consumer market.

Yuengling is the oldest American brewery and besides being Family owned, it is women run. Great beer. Yuengling has a brewery here in Tampa.
