The German government’s top health officials have admitted that no evidence exists to suggest that the use of face masks was effective during the pandemic.
Pressure has been mounting on Germany’s Health Ministry to provide evidence that supported the nation’s mask mandates.
Until now, health officials have refused to provide studies that show masking helps stop the spread of Covid or similar viruses.
However, Bundestag Vice-President Wolfgang Kubicki has just used his parliamentary prerogatives to put a question to the Health Ministry and compel officials to answer.
Kubicki demanded to know what study results the Ministry could cite to demonstrate the efficacy of face masks.
Federal Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach was forced to admit that his team has never seen any evidence to support masking.
Lauterbach’s team argued that”nobody really knows what effect masks really have.”
This is because “the effectiveness of individual measures… cannot be examined in isolation, but only in conjunction with the other measures in place at any given time,” Lauterbach claims.
Health Ministry officials were unable to provide a single shred of evidence.
The revelation comes after governments around the world forced kids to masks for hours on end in school.
Officials, quoting “the science,” were left to run wild imposing arbitrary mask mandates on airplanes and public transport, events, and clinics.
However, there was never any evidence of whether it did anything.
According to the response from Lauterbach’s team, there were never any plans even to find out if it was effective.
Suddenly all that manic masking enthusiasm has just evaporated.
The response comes several weeks after Dr. Anthony Fauci’s troubling statement to the New York Times.
Fauci, Democrat President Joe Biden’s former chief medical advisor, was an effective public advocate of masking.
At one point, he appeared on national TV and told the public to wear two masks at a time rather than just one.
“So if you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective,” Fauci told NBC News’s TODAY in January 2021.
“That’s the reason why you see people either double masking or doing a version of an N95.”
Now Fauci is trying to walk back his comments.
“At the population level, masks work at the margins, maybe 10%,” Fauci told the NY Times.
This is itself a baseless claim that Fauci provided no evidence to support.
But it’s another important walk-back of the doctrines that medical bureaucrats have been spinning about masks since 2020.
Out of control government was out of control.
Literally every serious effort to prove they DID work has proven that they did NOTHING.
I attended a local public school’s orchestra concert Tuesday evening. ONE kid on stage out of about 150 between the two groups was wearing a mask - and I thought: “dude - what do you THINK you are accomplishing?”

I still see a few people wearing them in stores.
And they are mostly middle aged to elderly blacks..................
Or young white females under 30. Asians too.
but for masks, billions of people would have died.

I never did understand how a Face Mask was supposed to prevent transmission of a virus being transmitted thru your television set??
I remember people wore all kinds of funny masks.
One was a mask with a picture of a lower half of a face with no mask, so it looked like they were were not wearing one!............
What's it going to take to cause our own homegrown mask bullies to admit the same?

It’s very rare I see a maskerbater anymore. When I do, I usually think, “Oh, a Democrat.”
His mother was probably in the audience and she probably would beat him once he got home if he didn’t mask up.
I took a gun class during the height of the plandemic. During the classroom part, the instructor said we could remove our masks due to it being a private club, or some such.
Anyway, only one female removed her mask (Moi) and all the guys did, except for one, who was about 13 and with his mom.
Here in NW Arkansas 9/10 of ongoing mask wearers are some kind of Asian. I frequent area Asian markets and see them frequently. I wonder how many are from China and are showing the effects of Big Brother mandates?
OR he has been forced to wear it so long that he is conditioned to wear it...
My neighbor lady is Korean and she wears a mask every day when she goes for her morning walk around the park, BUT she has done that for at least 20 years........................
I have been working in Taiwan for the last month and 98% of the people are wearing masks to this day. At my work location just a few people do not wear the masks. It is insane to go to breakfast in the hotel in the morning and people religiously keep their mask on as they get up from their table to go get food at the buffet. It looks as though they will never be convinced to remove their masks.
