Oregon Democrats have put forth a bill that would allow homeless people to sue residents for "harassment."
House Bill 3501, also known as the Right to Rest Act, would allow aggrieved parties to sue for $1,000 for each incident of harassment. It would also decriminalize homeless camps. The bill comes after several years of a worsening homelessness crisis, and many residents complain of harassment and improper behavior on the part of the homeless population in cities such as Portland.
The bill blames homelessness on "economic hardship, a shortage of safe and affordable housing, the inability to obtain gainful employment and a disintegrating social safety net system." It argues that decriminalizing homeless encampments would allow the state to redirect resources toward the "root causes of homelessness and poverty."
"It is declared to be the public policy of Oregon to guarantee persons experiencing homelessness participation in the social and economic life of this state, remunerative employment, use of and free movement within public spaces, participation in and receipt of the benefits of the services, programs and activities of state government and local governments and housing accommodations of the person’s choice, without discrimination," the bill reads.
It defines harassment as a "knowing and willful course of conduct directed at a person experiencing homelessness that a reasonable person would consider as seriously alarming, tormenting or terrorizing of the person experiencing homelessness." It does not consider the vice versa of homeless people harassing residents - something many have complained about.

They won’t need to hire an attorney. There are non-profits with attorneys on staff who will represent them for free.
So, when does the exodus of people in WA state, Ore-is-gone, & Kaliforniastan, heading to Idaho, Wyoming, Arizona, Texas and Montana, turning red states to blue states because they continue to leave, come to our safe, gun owning, hard working, red states and turning them blue because they continue to vote the same way. They leave because of high taxes, crap like this bill, etc. But, they don’t have a brain change. They don’t become one of us. Believe like us. That is what happened to Georgia. Atlanta’s mob of “foreigners” of radical blue states turned a great southern state into a blue mob of liberals and socialists.
No, they camp on the sidewalk or public easement in front of your home and you can’t tell them to move along.
This is what a collapsing society looks like. Keep focusing on wars abroad, like they want you to.

The homeless in Oregon have an army of pro bono lawyers and advocacy groups.

Oregon also has a stupid bureaucracy in Salem that defines the “Urban Geowth Boundary.” East of the cascades there is plenty of room to build houses. But a single bureaucrat draws arbitrary lines and says “no building for you.”
Also... It pays to be homeless No bills, no taxes, and free everything.
Good find. I believe that describes the Satanic mindset at play…kill, steal, destroy. The evil one behind all evil movements fools men into thinking it’s leading them somewhere better, not to their own demise. Pride carries people along for the ride.
Most homeless do not want jobs, and they could not hold a job if they got one. Years ago, those people would reside in mental institutions.
Call the local chapter of ANTIFA and tell them the squatter doesn’t like trannies.

They want the people of portland to have to defend themselves so they can villainize them.
