Democrat Mayor Eric Adams has revealed plans to impose restrictions on the amount of meat and dairy products the public can consume in New York City.
Adams, who is vegan, has vowed to limit public consumption of meat and dairy in an effort to fight so-called “climate change.”
According to Adams, reducing meat consumption will help NYC’s “greenhouse gas emissions.”
Adams’ plan seeks to reduce food-based gas emissions by 33 percent in the next 7 years.
“Food is the third-biggest source of cities’ emissions right after buildings and transportation,” Adams said.
“But all food is not created equal.
“The vast majority of food that is contributing to our emission crises lies in meat and dairy products.”

CBS New York reported that Adams’ office published data to support his claims that tackling public food consumption will help to save the planet.
“According to new data released by the city, 20% of the Big Apple’s greenhouse gas emissions come from food production and consumption,” the outlet reported.
“The mayor is now vowing to reduce the city’s food-based emissions at agencies by 33% in the next seven years and challenging the private sector to follow suit.”
Adams’ anti-meat and dairy agenda isn’t new, however.
The mayor has already started rolling out his agenda in the city’s public institutions.
Last year, NYC schools introduced “Meatless Mondays” and “Vegan Fridays” to force growing children into adopting a radical diet.
The move triggered a backlash from parents after reports emerged that school kids were being fed fake meat, dry bread, and mushed-up beans.
Parents complained that kids were throwing the food in the trash and eating cookies to make it through the day.
For Adams, however, the plan was never limited to just changing the menu in schools.
The mayor vowed last year that he would impose his own vegan diet on the rest of the city.
“I’ve got to get New Yorkers to eat a plant-based centered life,” Adams asserted last February.
There are several different nutrients that you can’t get from plants including, iron, omega-3 fatty acids, B12, zinc, and more.
As New Yorkers push back against adopting his nutrient-deficient vegan diet, Adams now appears to be planning to usher it in with force.
While the mayor stopped short of revealing how he intends to limit meat and dairy consumption, increasing taxes on certain products would simply price them out of reach for many people.
Another day in the twilight zone.
And how many dairy farms are in New York City???
They won’t stop. They can’t stop. They know what’s best for the serfs.
They know what’s best for themselves,too.

Maybe Trump can get with his Russian comrades and make it happen.

The purpose of the ban is to get massive $$ from fining people for ‘eating protein over their limit’- this has nothign to do with climate change-

If New Yorker’s are happy to vote for people that will dictate to them what they can and cannot eat, more power to them. I have no reason to ever want to live in that shithole or visit.
The reaction over this should be interesting in the coming months.

I was thinking about stadium food with the advent of this nonsense. We’ll see how fast they will carve out an exemption for the sports franchises who contribute so many dollars to the city coffers.

Yep. Black politicians have been a disaster everywhere. I can’t think of one successful black politician who earned the reputation of doing a good job.
Addams is a celebrity whore who loves the sound of his voice. Coercing veganism on New Yorkers is a special kind of progressive vanity. He reminds me of an organ grinder’s monkey.
