Trump is a hack
Vanity

Posted on 04/05/2023 3:45:32 PM PDT by bigdaddy45

So I just saw the Trump commercial re: Desantis. He accuses Desantis of wanting to cut Medicare funding among other things. All dark and foreboding in black and white (of course). And here's my favorite part: "Desantis even voted to raise the retirement age to 70"!!

Anyone even halfway responsible who looks at the Social Security trust fund numbers knows the retirement age will have to be lifted. Americans are living longer. There's no other option. Well, there is one other option -- raising SS taxes and/or raising or eliminating the income cap. Both Democrat solutions.

Of course Trump has no proposed solution to this problem. He just promises us a "big beautiful Social Security System" with no details as to how that will happen, and takes shots at anyone having the courage to vote for real solutions. For those of us who are small government conservatives (which used to constitute the majority of Free Republic), Trump is showing his true feathers as just another big government Democrat. Which he used to be.

Solving our fiscal problems and at least slowing down our journey to the financial cliff will require straight talk and courage. When it comes to the budget, Trump has demonstrated neither. The deficit continued to skyrocket during his tenure, and he couldn't sign the stimulus checks fast enough. He even baited Biden because his checks weren't as big as Trump's were.

So if you believe in smaller government and fiscal restraint, and are a Trump supporter, you're being played. He's just trying to buy your vote with your money like the rest of them. In other words, he's the latest in a long line of Presidents who are no-courage hacks.

Of course his supporters will come out of the woodwork throwing rocks. They won't refute or debate any of these points. They'll just rant about MAGA this or Desanctimonious that. They are so firmly entrenched in the Cult of Trump they can't see past the lips firmly planted on his ass.

Social security can easily be fixed if con_gress stops stealing the money.

Yes he has. But his ego makes him easily manipulated and it’s time to move on to someone else that can carry the banner better.

Which POTUS was as successful as Trump? Look at what Trump accomplished:

  1. Gas price per gallon was about $2.30;
  2. Inflation about 1.4%, mortgage rates were half of what they are now;
  3. Unemployment was low before Covid and before Blue Governors shut everything down and we were in the midst of a V-shape recovery until January 22, 2021;
  4. Tax decrease; tax laws promoted small businesses as well as large;
  5. US enjoyed energy independence - No Green Agenda, no war on energy, No Paris Treaty;
  6. No war in Ukraine, no threat of nuclear war, NATO paid its way;
  7. China was quiet and we were winning the trade war;
  8. US companies were bringing home the jobs due to well executed tax treatments;
  9. Peace in the Middle East aka Abraham Accords; US Embassy moved to Jerusalem; and Iran was isolated.
  10. Got three non-left “I don't know what a woman is” Supreme Court Justices on the bench allowing Roe vs Wade to be overturned.

Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by Obama's Weaponized Agencies?

You’ve outed yourself as someone who’s fine with the justice system being used to take out politicians, not based on crimes he’s committed but based on dislike for the politician. You’re fine with that, so you’re fine with lawlessness.

You have a disability if you believe what you wrote.

I am a trained risk manager. My point through all of this is that Trump should keep his Dick in his trousers. This mess would have been avoided if he was not a fool with his sex drive.

The root cause of Trumps problems is Trump. He has an inability to manage his urges and he cannot control his mouth.

He cannot keep a wife. He cannot keep staff. And he cannot keep his zipper closed.

But…he talks trash…so he must be cool.

And again, you’re changing the subject from the issue at hand. I don’t care if you like Trump or hate him. Being “a fool with his sex drive” is not a crime. The fact is, he didn’t commit a crime but he’s being indicted. If you’re okay with Trump being charged with a sham indictment simply because you don’t like him, then you might be happier living in communist China or some other totalitarian state where such things are the norm. And if you’re okay with the judicial system being used as a tool to destroy a political opponent, then you’re okay with lawlessness.

Listen to these idiots that are intent on cutting SS and Medicare, raising the age etc. They claim no money in the trust fund etc. Yet we have billions to fund the Ukraine war, billions for Taiwan, welfare , bingo pensions and salaries for politicians, and billions to third world commie countries that hare us.Fact is the rat politicians have been raiding SS for years.

I never said being a horn dog was a crime. But if he kept it in his trousers, he wouldn’t be here would he? It is a root problem analysis. It’s an unforced, stupid mistake.

I LOVE your list. However, we have to understand that the ONLY item that low-I.Q. RAT voters have the capability to understand is #1.

They “get” video games, reality TV shows, etc., but words and phrases like “inflation”, “V-shape recovery”, “Paris Treaty”, “NATO”, “Abraham Accords” — glazed-over eyes.

And if we had a judicial system that was faithful to the law he wouldn’t be here. THAT’s the root of the problem. If crimes are no longer necessary to indict someone, than the official reason for the indictment is meaningless. Stormy Daniels is just the excuse they decided to use this time. If this doesn’t succeed, they’ll try to charge him in Georgia for his phone call with Kemp. There is no shortage of non-crimes with which to charge Trump, if that’s what they’re committed to doing.

Bingo. Tweaking the edges.

Politicians sound like car salesmen...raise the age or raise the tax ir ubcap it, etc. No mention ever about the fact they spent the “trust “ fund. Sort of like give a trade in allowance but raise the loan rate.

LIE!

The FAKE GOP RINOS did nothing. They fought everything. So did the RINOS in the 80s.

Remember: we will repeal Obamacare! Give us the House and they whined about not having the Senate. They got the Senate and whined they needed the WH. They get Trump and McCain screws us all.

Bet you voted for him in 2008.

Whores lie, especially when they employ attorneys who end up serving time for a $25 million Nike shakedown.......99.9% of Trump’s problems are manufactured by the Left and regurgitated back to people who don’t know how to do research and get to the truth...........
