Oh well. I ignore the jerks and fools. It is remarkably easy. And I have some great back and forth with others. Unlike strictly controlled sites like dailykos or dummieunderground freerepublic doesn’t demand absolute allergies to ‘the party.’

I read her Opus and felt she made a number of valid points and I think she is right about Trump and Conservatism.
Trump’s win in 2016 was a Giant Fluke and I think even he knew that. He had a lot opportunity to do some very important and meaningful things, but didn’t.
As for 2024, at this point Trump has a lot of baggage and the question is could he win another national election. My guess right now, No, he would need to change the way he is doing things and I doubt he will.
