The Kennedy name may not have quite the nostalgic allure it once had, but the capacity to frame campaign issues in terms that seem to appeal to a large part of the electorate is still there. This coverup surrounding the history of Dr. Anthony Fauci is either too irrelevant, or much too delicate, for most of the Democrat Socialists that make up the power structure within the wider elements of what remains of the Democrat party. But not so for much of America, among the independents and the old-line Democrats who still believe in America as a nation.

Me too - it seemed beyond obvious, but I was raised as a medical skeptic anyway.
I never took the flu shot, never take antibiotics - very rarely have I even seen a doctor in my 70 years. I do catch colds, but they last a week or two and go away.
So when the masking and lockdowns started being forced on us for something that was exactly like a common cold, I knew it was bullshit.
For more “normal” people, who consult doctors for everything, and follow their advice (even conservatives), the Covid fear-mongering was far more compelling than it was for someone like me.
I was impervious - not just because I was predisposed to distrusting Big Gov, but also because I was predisposed to distrusting modern medicine and Big Pharma.
Don’t get me wrong: if it’s cancer or heart or any of a hundred other serious ailments, I will avail myself of the appropriate treatments - and consider myself fortunate.
But there is definitely a mass hypochondria gripping the world today. People’s medicine cabinets are WAY too full if you ask me. I’m not a doctor, but the problem is that doctors and hospital systems are making way too much money on this racket - they are never going to end the gravy train by telling people they really don’t need 90% of the medication they are taking.
Not all conservatives are distrustful of modern medicine the way I am - a lot of FReepers were very much afraid of Covid, and thus bought into the whole scam.
well possibly that may be a starting point, but imo the stakes are far higher for him than say the selection, Biden, or even Trump, as we have sadly found out. the threat that a person is deemed to represent determines the nature and extent of actions that are taken against them.
the real question for him, is how much is he willing to sacrifice? if he can answer that question for himself and his family, then the sky is the limit.

I’ve ALWAYS thought it was released to get rid of DJT and enable the Great Reset. It was all wayyy too convenient and well organized - all the western countries - and so many of our states reacted so similarly. It was an incredible plan and shocking how much time must have gone into the logistics. These people are extremely dangerous...citizens of the USA are just pawns to them.

Well, sure. “Gain of function” is the same thing as what used to be called “weaponization”. Except that “weaponization” is banned by international treaty, while “gain of function”, since it claims to have some potential medical use, is a gray area.

Taking a virus and ‘aging it’ a few generations - so we can see what it might evolve into in our lifetimes or our kid’s is one thing - - with the goal having a workable quick vaccine if necessary - makes sense. COVID was ‘aged’ hundreds of years - - in short moving into a bio-weapon range.
Sure, but it’s the same mechanism in both cases. The only real difference between “gain of function” and “weaponization” is a quite subjective one, the intent of the researcher. Unless the researcher working on weaponization is very stupid, they are not going to leave much evidence that their intent was anything other than to “help develop treatments for future pandemics”.
