I've been posting a series of J6 videos over the past few years that show abnormal incursions into the Capitol that were atypical of MAGA followers of President Trump. One of them was of a group of long-haired youths wearing gas masks who entered a room through a broken window, and were being given orders through the window by a woman with a bullhorn.
See that video here at this link.
While searching through my posting history to locate this video, I came across prior posts where the HTML appears to have been altered, removing the actual link to the video and replacing it with a dummy stub. Here is the most recent post from July 1, 2022, with this altered HTML:
https://freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/4075468/posts?page=44#44
Note that the actual HTML in the link says this: https://freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/4075468/yelling
Now, here is the same text from a post from January 5, 2022, with the same link. On that post, the link is preserved:

Can Free Republic Admins and techs explain how a "yelling" text can be appended to a legitimate YouTube link and be altered months later to divert a real link into a fake one?

‘yelling’ is the word right after your link in that post #44. Occam’s razor, maybe some kind of slip of finger caused ‘/yelling’ to be put in the link? The backslash is used for closing tags as we all know.
So you’re seeing different links in the same post when you’re looking at it in “my posts” versus looking at the actual post? If so, then that is strange. Can you get a screen shot of these?
I provided all the FR links for interestedd parties to see for themselves.

Is there a bullhorn html tag I don’t know about?
I was searching the page for a volume knob. If you find one lemme know.
I thought I was hacked once, but turns out I just hit the wrong button and inadvertantly started typing in my tagline.

You should have said ‘HOLLERING’ instead of yelling. Might draw less attention.
What is he going to do with it? As learned and rigid of research the Tucker show staff should be, I'm sure they are well aware of the video. That does not serve their purpose, however. McCarthy reneged on his deal to release to the public. instead releasing to Tucker & Faux News in order to mitigate what comes out, and how. Anyone thinking Tucker is a patriot needs to have their head examined. Every single one of those suckers is nothing more than bait to keep the right subdued. Hannity is the worst. Levin 2nd worst in my opinion, and those two CIA plants that took over for Rush, well, goodness. It's time to turn off the nonsense, and every one of them - Hannity, Levin, Beck, Buck & Chuck the CIA cucks, every single one of them has no interest whatsoever in furthering the cause of freedom. They make $$$ by being subversive and keeping the right winged masses in a froth.
Any ideas about what's going on?
Couple of thoughts.
1) FreeRepublic's codebase is Perl, I think. Which gets crufty over time, and after a while, a tooth can break off of a gear and it skips a beat. Here's a Perl script that will turn any random text you want into a link to that forum post.
#!/usr/bin/perl
use strict;
use warnings;
# Get input text string
print "Enter text string: ";
my $text = ;
chomp $text;
# Create HTML link my $url = "https://freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/4075468/posts?page=44#44";
my $link = "$text";
# Print HTML link
print "HTML Link: $link\n";
To use this script, simply copy and paste it into a plain text file with a .pl extension and run it from the command line. When prompted, enter the text string you want to convert to an HTML link. The script will then create the link and print it to the console. You'll need a working Perl interpreter for this to work.
2) Alternatively, you fat-fingered it, and accidentally copied the word "yelling" to your clipboard when you originally made the link. I suspect this is the most likely reason.
If I’m picking up what you’re putting down, I’m sure an archived post will have a different link than than the original post. It would have to. Or maybe I’m just not understanding what you’re saying. Anyway, I can’t imagine anyone, no matter how evil, would be spending time messing around with text within your links.
Are you logged in?
Black helicopters. They are real.
“I thought I was hacked once, but turns out I just hit the wrong button and inadvertantly started typing in my tagline.”
It happens. That is likely what happened to the OP.
Well, well, well...
You wouldn’t listen when we warned you to leave the tinfoil hat on...
Those dang Chicom shipping-container cranes in all the American ports see and report everything...
I think there is one at both Long Beach & Oakland that is dedicated to the surveillance of potentially dangerous FR Constitutionalist patriots...
I tried following the last two links in your post 11 back to the post in question, which is your 7/1/2022 post. For whatever reason, your posting history as it appears via those links is extremely spotty. It only shows one or two posts per year and most years are totally skipped over. I scrolled through but didn’t see your 7/1/22 post there. So I don’t know...without some screen shots or some different linking, I’m not sure we’ll be able to see what you’re seeing.
