Twenty-eight girls have been hospitalised after allegedly playing with an Ouija board in school.
The students were rushed to hospital after losing consciousness at school. The schoolgirls were admitted with signs of fainting, anxiety and other symptoms.
The school’s directors and concerned teachers accompanied the students to the hospital.
Many parents believe the children have been using Ouija boards in class.
It is unclear when the school plans to give an update on the students’ medical diagnoses.

LOL, no...it was just in reading the article, they were trying as hard as they could to implicate the Ouija board!
I remember someone unfortunate in my family got one for Christmas back in the Sixties, and after being inveigled to play this in some darkened room with a candle, looking at each other and thinking “Okay. This is utterly stupid. How long do we have to do this?”
Now THOSE were good presents! Any kid worth his salt would be frantically mixing things together, trying to get something that could blow up!
Hahahaha...every time I did it, I ended up with test tubes full of muddy looking liquid that never did anything.
And then the microscopes. I always seemed to destroy the glass slides by crunching them with the optical unit! At some point, I recall they stopped putting glass slides in those microscope kits.
I was a chemistry major back in the day when they were right on the cusp of still teaching people how to mouth-pipette! (I got into medicine a few years before they started making everyone wear gloves, too...
I think they put plastic slides in there, but those things were worthless.
Maybe the Ouija boad told them they were all girls.

The teenagers are said to have been discovered by teachers in a corridor at the Agricultural Technical Institute in Hato, Columbia.
Using Ouija boards in class? That could mean their teacher was involved.

I am not sure why, but I find this whole thing, and the inclusion of the Ouia board, oddly funny!
At least it didn’t say “Drink your Ovaltine”!
Weird. It says they all (eleven of them!) drank from the same glass. Good gosh, none of them heard of cooties????

I am 76 years old. 60 years ago Ouija Boards we’re all the rage at teenage Slumber Parties. I’ve played around on it several times during that stage of my life and grew up to be a responsible conservative. I suspect there is more to the story than is being told.
“an Ouija board in school” is always a bad idea. I guess they did not learn the two rules in life: always pay your parking tickets and never play with Yes-Yes to Satan board. If a group of ladies were injured, then burn the board, sprinkle the ladies with holy water and pray several prayers in Latin. Then buy them ice cream and tell them to never, ever do that again.
