We kept on dying.

This is the first time in history where an excess of food is considered a problem.

Don't get used to it.

In past years, infant mortality was horrible.

This is an example from a small Utah newspaper of 1873, where with 71 deaths for the month, 54 were children:

"Here is the mortuary report for September:

"Males, 42; females, 29.
Of these, adults, 17; children, 54.

"Causes of death as reported:

"Teething and bowel complaint, 28; brain disease, 8; typhoid and scarlet fever, 6;
consumption, 5; lung disease, 4; convulsions, 2; stillborn, 2; suicide, 2;
old age, 1; injuries received by a fall, 1; accidental poisoning, 1; aphthæ, 1;
pleurisy, 1; croup, 1; whooping cough, 1; heart disease, 1; diptheria, 1;
lead poisoning, 1; marasmus, 1; not reported, 3;
total interments, 71".

The Younger Dryas wiped out a heck of a lot of humans 11k+ years ago.

Wiped out half the mega-fauna on the planet too.

Hogwash. Prove it. It took three million years to get to six billion people? nonsense. Do the math.

Let's start with a pretty obviously small population - say 1000 individuals.

Very slow population growth because of high mortality and very limited resources. Population growth of .00034%

By 4,000 BC, the population was maybe 27 million.

There is the math for you.

In reality, growth was anything but constant, with many increases and decreases as glacial ages and plant and animal resources varied, and very, very slowly, technological increases (fire, clothing, weapons) accumulated.

Civilization has risen and fallen many times on this planet. We happen to be crashing back down right now.

There were a few cataclysms that happened in that time which practically wiped out people. But I don't think these were true humans. They were missing what we have today...God's revelation.
