I’ve been hearing this since the first Jurassic Park movie came out 30 years ago.

I can see it now - the dang things will probably have dandruff, to which humans are fatally allergic. Probably why the GEICO cave men killed them off in the first place...

For what purpose do they want the beast back?
It’s not a natural return. There is a balance. God set the balance.
Just because we can doesn’t mean we should.

I read about them wanting to this some years ago and decided I want me a baby wooly mammoth in the worst way. I could ride him to the grocery store and hang the bags from his curly tusks on the trip home. He would keep the lawn mowed. I could sell his poop for fertilizer and deer repellent. Besides, they’re cute. I want one so bad!

There’s a reason they go extinct...maybe disease...rememebr when they tried to reproduce Dolly...and I think it turned out freakish.

This promises about the same benefit as making hand held Flamethrowers available for sale at any Walmart.

It’s just hideous stupid. They same people think man can control climate. They have no respect for God or nature. Their ignorance is amazing.

Woolly mammoths? Just in time for global warming. How cruel!

Big animals require a lot of oxygen. All of the Mega Fauna were adapted to a higher oxygen atmospheric content then we have today.

As opposed to dead woolly mammoths roaming the tundra.

When they say, “a team of scientists has sequenced a nearly complete genome”, I’m curious if that is a complete sequencing, or if they ignore what they call “junk DNA.

FTA “”the goal of Church’s group is partially to bring large elephants back to the northern tundra as a means of converting it back to grassland to help insulate the permafrost below, thereby slowing climate change.””
Another ‘scientist’ who has drinks in Globull Gloaming, Climate Change crapola. Now, woolley Mammoths will save the world. Not too long ago New York and Chicago were under a mile of ice. The Great Cold and ice will return. It is a cycle, and all we can do is adapt. If someone does grow a few Mammoths, they will feel right at home when all the snow and ice returns.
