Anyone here ever drive the full length of 99 in California???
You’ll need a kidney transplant afterward.
I recently drove halfway across the country and I was amazed at how good the roads in Kansas were.
I would have said Pa was #1 as a Marylander. I lived in PA for several years and always complained about the roads there.
I used Google Street View to look at the old house back in Minnesota. The road now has many cracks in it. You can use the slider to go back to look at past years and see the good road turn into bad road. The area is very nice suburb and I remember as a kid seeing the road resurfaced several times with small gravel embedded in tar on top of the asphalt.
In Los Angeles I would drive the 405 freeway by Sunset blvd and they have a bad stretch for about a mile that rattles your car. It has been that way for 30 years+.
With the money spent our roads really should be paved with gold.
Years ago Howie Carr reported that Connecticut spends nearly four times more per mile than Massachusetts for highway maintenance.
The two states are tiny, have essentially the same climate, the same traffic patterns and in most highway respects they are identical.
Something ain’t right.
It's more like 'if roads could give kickbacks to democrats like Hunter and The Big Guy' they'd be taken care of...
New Jersey? You gotta problem with that?
Yes, exactly. I wish I’d said that!
I guess my meaning was that Democrat politicians use taxpayer money to buy votes for themselves.
I liked your comment too...
Bada bing!!! Hey!
