UCLA wants your help searching for extraterrestrial life

UCLA’s SETI group will launch a new project on Tuesday that allows the public to assist scientists in classifying radio signals that could be signs of extraterrestrial life, a news release said.
Participants will then be asked to select an image, provided by researchers, that closely resembles the radio signal they previously saw.
The goal is to match the signals to the “common classes of radio frequency interference,” a news release said.
Scientists with the group have observed about 42,000 stars and over 64 million radio signals and have technology that discards about 99.5% of the signals that are either “produced deliberately or as side effects of human technologies,” such as communication systems, satellites, aircraft and more.
The remaining detections can signify a life force outside of Earth.

There are tons of aliens around UCLA that arrived here from far away planets like Mexico and Columbia.

SETI? Are they still trying to direct attention away from where the evidence is pointing? No one is suggesting these things (to the extent they are even real) are coming from deep space.
We might as well look for bigfoot in a shoe store or a "Big and Tall Men's" shop.

To: RoosterRedux
Agreed—the entire SETI enterprise is a disinformation gig.
We all feel a lot safer knowing that aliens might be “out there” rather than permanently living right here.
It keeps everybody calm and supporting .gov.

As it used to be said, human beings find that maintaining an open mind is very uncomfortable. It actually hurts not to have an answer.
Hence the willingness of a lot of people to behave illogically and adopt positions and biases before the evidence has been collected and presented.
As Mr. Spock would say, "humans are most illogical." ;-)

Zombies? See above and visit Kensington, Ave in Philly.

To: RoosterRedux
That is the key to influencing humans.
If you can affect their emotions then they will act.
After they act then they follow or create belief systems/narratives to justify their actions.
