Its good to learn the differences in the plants. We’ve been here a long time and over the years have pulled many QAL out of my yard when it grows where I don’t want it. It does smell like carrots. I’ve just always composted it.
I purchased some books this winter on foraging and discovered a lot of edible plants growing on our property. Good to know in case my garden doesn’t do well or I feel a bit adventurous in my meal preparation.
