Women have been sharing TikTok videos of themselves doing their makeup from their labor-delivery room hospital beds
Some mothers appear to be getting their makeup done before the birth of their children, and the decision has stirred lots of discussion on social media.
On TikTok, entering the term "birthing makeup," "labor makeup" and "delivery makeup" yields dozens of viral videos that show women applying full faces of makeup from their hospital beds while they wait for their children to enter the world.
Reality TV star and media personality Heidi Montag, 36, went a step above and hired a professional makeup artist when she prepped for the birth of her son, Ryker Pratt, in November 2022, which she documented on TikTok

If you look back at time, a surprising thing to learn is that women wearing make-up seems to be a biological imperative for them, it isn’t something that they just discovered and started doing 100 years ago, or 1,000 years ago 2,000 years ago.
Using make-up to one degree or another seems to be a state of normal for the female sex, so to let it bother you so much that you lash out like that isn’t reasonable.
Some things the sexes do are just natural to their sex whether we understand them or not, when it is, then I think it is wise to accept that it must serve some function for humans.

When I was having our kids in the ‘60s there wasn’t any photos or video to catch every grunt and groan, so no need for makeup.
Not even any newborn photos back then.
In fact, it was just me and the military staff whom I had never seen before.
Husband was home in bed for the first one and out moving the car out of the emergency entrance for the second.
Yeah, it was that close.
It is ridiculous to think about makeup going into labor, isn’t it? It proves that these women are total narcissists and I pity their children.
Guess I’m blessed in that regard. I devoted a lot of time to raising them right. Most lessons, they’ve gotten. There are a few I’m still hoping they get as they mature.
I knew women who brought makeup to the hospital. Then, they applied some makeup for their photos with their newborns.
I wish I’d thought of that...
Lol, I never had beer after any of my deliveries. Probably wished for some rum, though! ;) Seriously though, I think I only had a glass of wine once in a blue moon while I was nursing. Of course, that all changed once each kid was weaned!

I mean I’m a southerner I think everybody knows that here who knows me so that means 97 to 98% of the woman where I’m from are whores by his estimation

I just don’t get it why so much negative posting why don’t some people sometimes say things laudable

People are ugly on those sites too though to be honest
Probably the most concise polite posting is on YouTube podcast like Michael Knowles or Matt Walsh or on the Ukraine I listen to Alexander Mercurius every day that I can
I miss old free republic I’m sure we all do I don’t miss the harpies or the wolf packs though
But I miss the informed posting more than anything
