The Tragedy of Damar Hamlin: What they are not saying speaks volumes and what they are saying is garbage
Political Moonshine/Substack ^ | 1/4/2022 | Political Moonshine

Posted on 01/05/2023 6:44:16 AM PST by woodbutcher1963

Let’s get right to the crux of one of the worst sporting tragedies in recent memory and especially so given the context of a highly anticipated Monday night NFL game, which is averaging 14.8 million viewers in 2022: If Damar Hamlin were NOT vaccinated/boosted for COVID-19, it would be plastered all over every newscast and newspaper in America. But that is NOT not the case. What does that tell us? It says that what they’re not saying speaks volumes.

I was reminded of this by longtime Moonshine contributor, Wall St., who sent me this message in-part: “I learned from listening to lying management CEOs/CFOs. If they don’t even address the elephant in the room then the elephant is far bigger than you think and most of the other people in the room won’t ever figure out there even is an elephant until after they’ve lost their money.”

I’ve seen a bunch of Damar Hamlin coverage and my first concern goes to him and his family as do my prayers, but the elephant in this room is not only being completely ignored, they’re trying to throw a rug over the top of it as if no one will see. That’s absurd.

Perhaps most concerning and to my point is that federal authorities have converged on Hamlin’s hospital. Narrative and unavoidable fall-out control is important and those feds have a job to do. That’s sinister.

Everything will be totally politicized to the Nth degree until we reach that cataclysmic event that throws us all asunder.

Do you agree in your professional opinion that the impact is not likely to cause cardiac arrest?

My apologies. My screen name is based on a comic book character of the mad-scientist variety. I have no doctorate, my degree is from Christendom College in Political Science, and my like of work has generally been in IT.

That said, I agree with the point about the padding, it certainly covers the affected area. I am also open to the possibility that Hamlin has a pre-existing undiagnosed condition and that different people are more sensitive than others regarding these sorts of things.

I do find it interesting that the "booster" was received only days before the event. When the story originally unfolded it was stated that his shots were many months ago. Even so, in some people bad conditions may build up long after the shot, and we may get an unexplained flurry (or blizzard) of premature heart attacks 2, 3 or 5 years from now. We just don't know.

I have turned down numerous interviews with with government contractors who require the shot, and am presently unemployed, so I have skin in the game. No shot for me.

That’s a good point. He couldn’t have had better care if it had happened in the operating room. I’m surprised the multiple defib attempts didn’t seem to work.

The tackle has to hit in a 5 millisecond window to cause commotio cordis. So the odds are 5/1,000 = 0.5% that the timing would be “right.”
= = =

I am following your methods and calcs. Good approach.

But in the statement above, you have assumed that the 5 millisecond window occurs with a 1 second timeframe. How often does this 5 ms window occur? Once per second, or once per heartbeat? If the pulse rate is greater than 60, then the 5 ms windows would be closer together. Like twice as often for a 120 heart rate. And what is the instantaneous heart rate in the middle of a play and tackle?

Should this be a part of your calcs?

Yep. I agree with you. Head in sand is not a good way to walk through life. Easier, but not right.

Every single person I know who got jabbed, double jabbed, and triple jabbed later got very ill multiple times with covid.

I was never jabbed. I have not been sick since before the hysteria.

May we assume that Hamlin is in an induced coma, for the sake of his heart and brain recovery??

If so, I have been told that its “impossible” or at least not easily done during this period, to conduct full scans/research on him to determine the cause of his cardiac arrest. Is this true?

If so, then it seems to me, we are all simply guessing what happened.

With so much news coverage, its hard to imagine, this event only happened 60 hours ago. Its still extremely early in his recovery and treatment.

Oh no. That goes to the point of additional padding or making moves illegal. I’m not for that.
= = =

Add padding and everyone slows down, can’t move as deftly, and figures some way to cheat the padding rules.

Illegal moves. Will need more refs and camreas and replay reviews, probably with AI analysis of the video.

So, let’s just go to virtual video football. Each player has a console. Nobody physically touches anybody. All moves are legal. John Madden Football, live.

It’s funny to go back to the 80s and see how huge the pads were compared to now.

I have suffered through medical professionals who were unable to acknowledge that their action resulted in my suffering.

The current procedure based because we need ta get paid medical practice has me terrified of needing surgery of any kind.

Yes, y’all professional and have experience and that experience means you cannot see things that are new and look to be part of your understanding. Most best part is the smarter and better you are the more your unconscious will use existing pattern recognition heuristics because they are close enough. The conscious mind will not be aware that is happening and will harden around the decision being right.

Works really well until it does not.

with the start of the corona i thought it was not a black swan because as a species we have suffered through worse. What i did not anticipate was the global coordination of response, resulting in a much larger impact for bad decisions.

Ohio closer to creating office to monitor potential federal overreach

Perhaps the Ohio AG might want to poke around as to why there is so much federal involvement around the bedside of a football player. The incident did take place in Ohio, after all.

There is a 38 year old ex-jaguar that dropped dead the other day. Big vaxxer. He said anyone not vaxxed should be in jail.

“Get the vaccine for life” I believe was on his tweet.

Now he’s dead.

Draw whatever conclusions you will.

That’s a good point. I watched a video by a doctor describing the electrical currents of a heartbeat and he pointed out the 5 ms window. He didn’t mention heart rate.

But would it make a difference? Suppose it is a 5 ms window at 60 beats per minute. At 120 bpm, you’d have a 2.5 ms window, but you’d have that window would occur twice as often, right? So wouldn’t the 5 ms window NOT be a function of heart rate?

Thankfully, I do not have to see doctors much, and hunted during COVID for a family practitioner who did not require masks (found one!). My extended family does have conditions, and when they are wrong, they can be really wrong. My wife's family is in Canada, where the problem is much worse, suffers from even MORE government influence, and leaves almost no choice for much of anything, including choice of doctor.

“Please do no comment UNTIL you have read the ENTIRE article including the tackling breakdown description.”

And break the longstanding FR tradition of making vitriolic comments based on what the commenter assumes to be the content of the article based on the headline alone?

Good luck.
