I’m unaware of any actions the administration or board owners have or have not taken. Most people act in their own best financial interests, but not always when addictions or emotions are involved. Maybe Gunny served with or saved a Robinson way back when. Who knows?
I actually don’t know anything about this ongoing situation except that HG’s opinion of certain (maybe all) posters seems to be extremely valuable to the posters who are having ongoing issues with him. And those posters are going to work at their keyboards engaging him until the keyboard letters are faint trying to get him to ... I don’t even know what the goal is. Whatever it is, their chances for success don’t look promising, but God bless them for trying to stand up to a boogey man.

I’ve watched posters like Dumbledore destroy sites before.
And FR is already losing members and money because of him.
Dumbledore is not going to change in any way and nobody expects him to.
What needs to happen is that the mods enforce the rules and give him time outs even if they never ban him outright because he’s related to the owners or something.
They can start by making him change his fake status page that lies about him being suspended.
Bagster and others get picked on and suspended unfairly but that jerk not only gets to drive people away but gets personalized service to protect him from people who hit him with his own tactics.
If you don’t value FR enough to care about losing it then go ahead and stay complacent while it dies like the other sites I’ve seen and like our liberty is nearly dead because people chose indifference to those who were destroying it.

I would call the State water or environmental agency if the locals aren’t interested. Whoever it is that regulates septic systems will be most interested.

You know very well I don’t control that. The board owner does partly, and the reports here are that he has repeatedly decided what’s best for him, without regard to the financial cost. Before you try to blame me (a fellow donor) for JR’s financial woes, has it occurred to anyone who feels so very protective that engaging the gnat is what’s hurting JR? If everyone left the gnat alone to stew in the empty, unresponsive silence, there’d be no anger and no financial repercussions. Instead, he makes a nasty comment, someone decides to engage him, he doubles down, feelings get hurt (OMG - is this middle school again?), people run to the teacher, and the teacher doesn’t do anything. If you truly care about JR, stop engaging the gnat.

You’re right. Men are usually very logical and resistant to emotional reactions, but HG has a special talent for pushing some of their buttons, and it’s disappointing that they allow it to happen. I’m chalking it up to a testosterone surge and men’s innate need to win, a truly fantastic quality, but not when the win is defined badly. I’m reminded of the man who loves his woman so much that he’ll kill her to prevent her from leaving him (losing). He can’t see, even from jail, that he didn’t really win. That’s where we are.
