Why is Trump backing a loser like McCarthy?
FR ^ | Jan 4 | RandFan

Posted on 01/04/2023 1:55:29 AM PST by RandFan

Anyone else feel this is a big mistake backing a loser like McCarthy?

It has been obvious to any of us on FR for weeks that he doesn't have the votes to be speaker and all this would happen yet Trump has backed him with gusto.

He cannot possibly be speaker after all this and still has no where near the votes anyway.

I feel again Trump has made an error in who is supporting or promoting....

Bump.

People change as they age, and to be honest didn’t Trump always choose poorly? As examples he nominated Gen Milley, did not get a single SCOTUS nomination conservative in the vein of the great Scalia. Why?

My Dad at 50 once rebuilt a complete drilling rig transmission with no previous experience and just using the blueprints as a guide, and it worked perfectly.

Last year at 79 he couldn’t change out his Toyota truck’s starter and I had to do it for him. It’s horrible what age does to people. WTH do people on this site think Trump is somehow immune ???

And again I am/was a supporter, voted for him in 16 and 20.

I agree that Trump is starting to show his age. He is nowhere near Biden's level, but Biden had multiple health issues that increased the severity of his current mental state.

Trump was great in 2016 and 2020, but he is not the same man to me. I will vote for him if he wins the nomination, but during the process, I will keep my eyes open for someone else.

His endorsement of OZ relates to his previous many bad picks.

The wife of the OZ opponent worked in Trumps White House. Buddy of mcmaster.

> “And the media will make sure to tell everyone Trump backed another loser.”

The MEDIA, time 20:45 (but be sure to watch the whole thing):

https://rumble.com/vmyx1n-monopoly-who-owns-the-world-documentary-by-tim-gielen.html

> “I know we dont care what they say .....”

Excellent.

> “ ..... but it can be somewhat damaging politically.”

It’s War. There are and will be casualties.

Obama filled key positions with Marxists who in turn recruited and promoted more Marxists.

Don’t listen to what Trump says or what is said about him.

Watch what he does silently.

Words vs. Results.

Trump went to NY Military Academy, a West Point Prep School. He became an impassioned student of all the famous Generals, Patton, MacArthur .....

These Generals were Honorable Patriots to their country, but they were hated by their enemies who said they were liars ..... too bad for these enemies.

Those Generals were indeed liars ..... to their enemies.

Wars are won by superior spying, lies, deceit, disinformation. The military action follows from this. Horrible, yes. But necessary in War.

We are in War, a Stealth War Within.

Obama’s FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE UNITED STATES was an 8-year seeding of the federal workforce with leftist ideologues.

https://newtube.app/user/Hostage/FokM5dV

We follow Trump as our General. We know he has our back. We don’t care what he says, we care what he does and the results he achieves. His achievements speak for themselves.

The Democrats similarly don’t care what their leaders say .....

But the difference is they are in it for themselves and their cronies, whereas Trump is in it for the survival of America and its People.

Marxists vs. Patriots.

Big difference.

Trump is one of the most generous pro military persons in US history.

When Marine Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi was imprisoned in Mexico for taking a wrong off ramp from the US into Mexico and arrested for a careless innocent mistake which hurt no one, rotting away for a year in a Mexican jail while Obama wouldn’t even pick up the WH phone to inquire about his condition, Trump worked behind the scenes to free Andrew (paid off Mexican authorities), brought Andrew to Trump Tower and wrote him a check for $25,000 for legal, rent, food, job search, etc, Andrew was in shock. Trump has helped hundreds and hundreds of veterans, too many to list. He’s financed war memorials that rival in awesome spirit those of Washington DC.

He’s generous to people that he doesn’t know including civilians. A couple stopped when they saw a limo with a flat tire. They stopped to help not knowing it was Trump inside the limo. Limo driver was told to get their names and address so a thank you note could be sent. A little while later they were shocked to find their home had been paid off without their knowledge.

This list goes on and on and on, all confirmed, witnessed.

You want to stick it to the Marxists and their Liar Media?

When they say Trump supports Nazis, smile at them and say, “You mean like you? And your Antifa brownshirts?”

When they say Trump lies and deceives, say “You mean like you do?”

When they ask you why you don’t hate Trump like they want you to, say because “WE ARE TRUMP!”

When they call you names and say you’re a cult, say “GOOD! THERE’S A HUNDRED MILLION OF US! DEAL WITH IT!”

Trump is our William Wallace, our Braveheart.

You have read or will read, that people close to Trump over the decades will say, “Eventally you realize Trump can SAY whatever ....., it doesn’t matter.”

Here’s what matters:
https://www.vietnamveteransplaza.com

All paid for by Donald J. Trump and donated to the City of New York.

There were 250,000 Vietnam Veterans from New York, forgotten and mistreated. In the 1970s into the 1980s, no prominent New Yorker or political leader wished to remember their sacrifice save for Donald Trump. Others eventually followed, but Trump led the way.

Ok, here’s a clue why the DC Class hates Trump. Trump was going to restructure DC and downsize it in a major way. For example, he had people working on plans to move entire agencies out of DC, like OPM to Ohio, DHS to Nebraska.

So many government workers feeding at the Federal Trough were going to be moved out. How dare anyone think to do that to these entitled, protected do-nothings?

So naturally, it was necessary to get Trump.

To be fair, there are many talented, hard-working government civil servants. But DC became a haven for incompetents skilled at backstabbing dutiful coworkers while climbing the ladder brown-nosing their Marxist Overlords.

I grew up in DC. I witnessed it grow into a monstrosity starting in the years of LBJ and his Great Society. And now it’s the Center for Aristocrats serving an elite Oligarchy while the serfs outside have to work two jobs to make ends meet. Donald Trump was going to change all that, how dare he?

Same reason he backed a loser like OZ…

Getting bad advice and also playing an “outsider” within a system requires compromises

Strom Thurmond turned 100 while in office.

Ruth Ginsberg stayed until she dropped dead.

These are all great examples of why we need to put a mandatory top age limit to serve.

The FAA mandates pilots retire at 60. Holding public office should have a similar limit.

I think he just wants to fit in and be liked. For years everyone loved him and fawned over him. He was the American dream come true, even obama said that. Then he got into politics and even those that were supposed to be on his side, repubs, turned on him.

Going from being loved, having the #1 reality show for years to becoming about the most hated person on the planet has to take it’s physiological toll.

A leader takes responsibility for his decisions, right or wrong. Donald Trump only takes responsibility for his right decisions, leaving his supporters to giving him a pass on his errors.

Rather tiresome, in my opinion.

Oh please, the reality is that the President picks the VP. The party officially votes to confirm the choice.

Trump picked Pence because Javanka told him to.
