Sorry you had a tangle with your dog at 64. Ankles can be delicate. I think prognosis is good for full recovery on my part. I appreciate so much your kind thoughts. It’s hard to understand that I’m getting to that creaky stage. *sigh* Oh well. Better than the alternative, right??? We do the best we can.

Since I turned 50 I have dealt with sciatica, melanoma, and twisted both ankles (not at once) - bonus ailments: tinnitus & floaters!
But weight went down from 210 to 160 and fully recovered from the first three I can bend, lift, run, jump, climb trees no pain!
