Yes, there is a way. But is there the will?
Most Americans know something has gone terribly wrong—and very abruptly—with the United States. They are certain that our wounds are almost all self-inflicted. The current pathologies are not a result of a natural disaster, an exhaustion of natural resources, plagues, or an existential war.
Crushing national debt and annual deficits, spiraling food and fuel costs amid “normal” seven-percent-plus annual inflation, bread-and-circuses entitlements, a nonexistent border, a resurgence of racial tribalism, pandemic violent criminality, and humiliation abroad—all these pathologies are easily cited as symptoms of a sick patient. Our crises are not as the Left maintains—a nine-person Supreme Court, the Electoral College, or the filibuster—all distractions from existential problems the Left largely created.
So, what are the therapies and prognoses for America?
In the spirit of constructive rather than blanket criticism, here is a partial, 10-point plan of national recovery.
Cut the Debt
Americans’ national debt is now $31 trillion. That is about 123 percent of current GDP. The liabilities are unsustainable. We run annual deficits of $1.6 trillion. These financial obligations will eventually ensure that rising interest rates to service the debt crowd out essential spending for national defense and the general welfare.
Or in extremis, in the not too distant future, the government will be forced to default on what it owes the “rich” bondholders and foreign debt holders. Or the government will be forced to confiscate private wealth, as for example occasional crazy suggestions to nationalize and absorb 401(k)k retirement plans into the soon-to-be-insolvent Social Security system. Or the state will simply print millions of dollars to pay off obligations, Weimar-style.
In addict style, the more we come to realize that our binging habit cannot go on, the less we can practice self-restraint.

I agree, but it isn’t the size of the national debt that makes it impossible to fix - it is the departure from the founding principle of limited government and our lack of clarity any resolve.
We would need to fight American Revolution II in order to restore us to what the Founders intended. We don’t have what it takes to accomplish that.
As for the debt, much of it is held by the same wealthy globalists who led us down this path of destruction. These debt holders have sucked us dry for a century, and would be our declared enemies in the second American Revolution.
Cancellation of debts owed to our enemies would be part of our Declaration of Independence from these globalist tyrants.
If we were to find the resolve to declare war on the globalists and progressive Left, the hard part would be identifying exactly who the enemy is - this is where President Trump comes in - he has an uncanny way of attracting all the right enemies.
THE solution is already in the Constitution. Article V Convention of States. 19 have signed up so far 15 more needed. Now that America is a fake Republic and in the beginning stage of Dictatorship what have we got left to lose?

Destroy everything that is left. That’s what opening a Convention of the States would do if we’re foolish enough to go down that route.
Can you not understand that we do not have honorable, learned patriots trustworthy enough to be a delegate, let alone enough honest delegates from each state? I used to be an advocate, donated money to a conservative state senator who went to Wisconsin to a meetup of advocates organized by Scott Walker. This was 8-10 years ago. The current political situation convinced me that the Convention of the States would be a fatal self inflicted disaster.
The moment they strike the gavel, the Judas’ and other mendacious reprobates that we placed our trust on, will do what they do, and the so-called “targeted agenda” will fly out the window along with whatever Liberty and Freedoms we have left.
Fools rush in where Angels fear to tread.

We all know that this is what the Feds will do. The Fed has never denied purchasing bonds; and no one would be allowed to be the Fed Chairman if there was the remotest threat that they would say no. Our nation can live on life-support for quite some time (perhaps indefinitely) running up the national debt. We’re well behind Japan in terms of debt-to-GDP.
As long as the fox continues to guard the hen house, there is no fixing our problems.
It’s all too broken and corrupt with an ignorant, complacent population.
Only Divine Intervention can save up.
That’s the reality of what we face.

You can’t cut the debt without cutting spending/ making government smaller etc.
When was the last time you heard anyone suggest cutting the size and scope of government? Maybe they talk, but it has never been done, never.

They ride the rocket as high as it will go, then bail out on “golden parachutes”. They use digits on a balance sheet to drain actual wealth, land, gold, diamonds, metals. The “things” designated as collateral are then used as a hedge against a new rocket where the rich put little in play, and get a grand harvest. Sitting on a stack of chips at this World Casino, they now own the House. If they can just keep the people stepping up to the tables, the game goes on forever.
Why would they want to end this? Like the majority of humans living in this time, there is no life beyond the physical. The craving need for money is equal in intensity of sex addicts need for more, bigger, better, kinky, blood play, strangle then kill. It is into this universe that a sober group must convince them to quit. It ain’t gonna happen. The material perverts must be imprisoned, or killed. They cannot live among us if we are to reform mankind.
Right off the bat, we know that men cannot be reformed. What we need is a Messiah.
We are not well and truly ++++++. What we are, is at a point where we have a true choice. It is a spiritual one tied together with a need to purge our physical realm. We are back to the need for Jesus of the Old Testament.
Obviously our “elections” have been a joke for years
As it is, the Democrat Party has figured out how to win enough elections to control the government, and they are governing in a way that preserves their power and offers some benefits to a variety of groups that make up their coalition.
In my opinion, the nation will not recover, there will be an assortment of states that maintain a certain level of sanity, and attract thoughtful and conscientious people.
VDH, like other “conservatives”, fails to recognize that k-12 government schools are the main instrument of the destruction of our culture. It was been a slow process, but the government schools are now so toxic that only the willfully blind can overlook the hideous danger they pose to children and the culture. Government has no legitimate role in education in a free society, yet “conservatives” love the socialist education model and, by now, dishonestly argue that they can be “reformed”. Yeah...just like Soviet collective farms could be reformed. Government schools are systematic child abuse.
They are not serious about decreasing debt until they bring all troops home.
