Buc-ee’s is a chain of country stores and gas stations with locations in Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee. They have a cult following among consumers.
Buc-ee’s is not just any convenience store. They’re loved by the locals and people passing through. They have all the fuel you need: beaver nuggets (caramel popcorn), Texas-style brisket sandwiches, tons of fresh jerky, kolaches, drinks and of course gas pumps galore. And you can browse the collection of t-shirts, hats, blankets, mugs — you name it — all emblazoned with Buc-ee the Beaver.
And about those bathrooms. They’ve been named the cleanest in America. Texas Monthly reported that the 56,000-square-foot Bastrop location has 71 toilets and a team whose only job is to clean them 24 hours a day.

Here’s a Spot to REST !!!!
And you know this because........................😉
That’s the one they are currently building at Exit 407 on I-40...the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg exit...that one will be INSANE with traffic! We will check it out sometime, but we’ll shoot for 4 in the morning.
Those nuts are a gateway drug. Pretty soon it’s full on pecan pie for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I live near the new one in Crossville. I’ve had a hard time finding a parking space sometimes. It’s slowed down now but summer was huge.

All the employees in the photo are wearing masks. No thanks.
There is a Buc-ees about 100 miles from us. Between now and Christmas, I’m going to convince hubby to take us for a ride in the RV just so I can see the place. The Babylon Bee videos have made me curious so I want to see the place in person.
Sounds like something QuikTrip would like to be. But they have their own niche -— Gas, food, great help.
I would actually prefer that they do!................
It’s different for sure. It’s a good rest stop break for
people traveling.
I like Buc-ee’s dress code...
Looks like some of the finer truck stops they have everything too.
Never had a brisket sandwich before that I can recall. For me it was too sweet and saucy for the price. They are fresh, I’ll give it that. Restrooms are clean.
Every Bucees I’ve ever seen seems to be a license to print money.
They are the nearest place to me where I can buy pure gas. My Road King prefers gasoline to alcohol.
We have a Murphy’s that sell pure gasoline, but it’s higher priced than premium.
Why does it cost more to NOT ADD ALCOHOL?................
I also wonder why gas is 91 octane, you add 10% alcohol it drops to 87, but you add 5% more alcohol and it goes up to 88.
Ooh, I’m going to try the roast beef next time😋I’m driving to Asheville next week to see my mom. It is in TN. Before Knoxville?
At one time, it was because of subsidies for gasohol. Don't know why that's still true. For my bikes, it's worth it, even though I bitch about it. Pure 93 octane is what they really want.
Since their bathrooms are so clean, you can go and eat in there.
