Trump can turn it around with an inspired VP choice!

Sen. Rand Paul.

The only choice!

It would also shut up McConnell. He's a Kentuckian or will he try and still sabotage their campaign?

Thoughts?

What’s happening to Trump is everything he says is filtered now through media.

Familiarity as a political figure is a new problem for Trump. People assume they know what he says and skip direct communication with him for filtered through media.

If I had my druthers, I’d druther it be Kari Lake. She’s not a backstabbing SOB like Pence or any of the other Trump associates who lied to him to get their jobs and then cast him off the first time they could write a book about it and make some money.

I don’t really understand what you’re asking.

I was stating that many on FR like Paul. More specifically people with a libertarian bend to their conservative base.

I prefer Rand stay in the Senate, and maybe Lake for VP if Trump is the candidate.

Lots of time, as the new Congress isn’t even seated yet.

Trump has probably passed the point of no return. I voted for him twice but my primary vote will go elsewhere. His constant harping on 2020 is wearing thin. It shouldn’t be all about his ego.

Trump is a populist, and Paul is a libertarian. I don’t think it would be a good mix. And Paul definitely isn’t the type to support any Administration policy with which he disagrees, which is pretty much part of the job of a “loyal” VP.

Just give it time. Just kidding. I like Lake as well but experience matters. And assuming that she does get in (through a Hobbs recall or otherwise) quitting after 1 or 2 years may be an issue.

I think Lake, on a national stage, highlighting the laughable Arizona “election”, is your best hope to fix the system enough to avoid the next steal.

I think people are sick of hearing repubs whine over elections, no matter how valid their points may be. Squawking to the nation isn't going to help when it's up to state legislatures to fix them. Just makes us look like losers.

Some quotes:

House GOP head Kevin McCarthy — told the Washington Post in a post-mortem interview. “This election system they have — I can’t begin to understand what ‘ballot harvesting’ is.”

Isn't he like the chairman of the CA GOP? and he didn't know what ballot harvesting is? LOSER

So what changed? “I think one of the big areas is ballot harvesting,” California GOP spokesman Hector Barajas told National Review, crediting the pragmatic leadership of state chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson to emphasize the practice in several key races.

“We were either going to do two different things,” Barajas said of the state party’s shift in attitude. “We were either going to continue to whine, oppose valid harvesting, and lick our wounds after the election, or we were going to figure out the rules, look at the chessboard that was put before us, and figure out how to play the game.”

Who would you rather vote for, the whiner or the fighter?

Trump and Lake need to quit whining about something they can't do anything about. It's up to the voters to elect better state lawmakers and Secretaries of State. We also need to keep track of who Soros is financing and fight that like hell early enough to do something about it.

“Arizona has gone to the DARK SIDE“

Just to be clear, technically AZ did not “go to the dark side”. It was stolen because the rats controlled the SOS offices and have useless rino AG. Lake had a clear 10 point lead but they still stole it. It’s moot though now, the rats control all of it so yes AZ is gone.

Uh....NO!

Installed President Biden has his whole adult life experience in ‘politics’ and ‘government’ (i.e., he has NEVER had a full-time adult job outside of ‘government,’ and LOOK WHERE WE ARE NOW. I don’t buy that ‘experience’ BS, period.

In fact, our Constitution specifically required 2 year terms for its Congressional Representatives - those representatives most closely aligned to a democratic form of representation under a Republic of laws. What was the founding fathers’ intent here? I believe citizen servants brought in to be and think like normal CITIZENS in Washington to do their best and THEN GO HOME.

IMO, we’ve had enough of lifetime politician ‘servants’. They are killing us, robbing us and getting filthy rich, and they are selling our rights down the river for the votes that will keep them in office. Hell no. Kari Lake, still.

Long ago, The Daily Show (Back when Stewart just took over.. I used to watch it under Kilborne’s command) they made a FOOL of Rand.

Like certificates and awards from an organization that he started. Other fluff.

The Paul family isnt’ RINO by any stretch, but neither he or Ron are the people we think they are.

I say Sarah Palin.

Assuming Lake does get in as governor Arizona has a very good chance to correct their system, to lead the way in reform, in fact, and show the entire country how it is done. Both on that and border policy. It would be an ideal platform.

Are these the same Republicans swearing on a stack of bibles there was no fraud in 2020 ?

The same people crying that 2020 was stolen are now crying that 2022 was stolen.

Maybe we should nominate Republicans who can hold on to their wins, guys like Glenn Youngkin or Ron DeSantis.

I read somewhere 6 months. Guess who gets to certify the validity of recall petitions? That’s right folks the rat SOS. They have learned you can easily sabotage these with a few bogus signatures on each one. That’s how they did in Mi,
