Trump can turn it around with an inspired VP choice!

Sen. Rand Paul.

The only choice!

It would also shut up McConnell. He's a Kentuckian or will he try and still sabotage their campaign?

Thoughts?

The Democrats have perfected the art and science of election rigging. If the last two elections haven’t proved that to everyone’s satisfaction, the returns from the Georgia Senate runoff should have. Warnock is an obvious communist scumbag and a thoroughly vile human being, and he sails right through to victory. They will do it all again in ‘24, so don’t get your hopes up. My 2 cents.

Have you seen Kari Lake in action? Best natural politician I have ever seen. Unfortunately, she’s a RINO.

I consider her a Trump Democrat. Not a bad thing - he needs more like her.

But no VP pick will make any difference in 2024 - they hardly ever do.

If you are a VP candidate and your entire reason to join the ticket is to help the primary candidate shore up dropping numbers.

Why would you join? Just to say you ran?

The primary candidate has to be strong and stand on their own...The VP choice just doesn’t have to hurt the ticket....no one votes for the VP...The vote for POTUS

For Rand it would be a good move. He has no chance in ‘24 I dont think so what is he to do.

He would be a excellent choice. He is good in the media, good wingman and may further his ambitions.

I dont like this defeatist sentiment.

You prob. said Youngkin would never win in Virginia, right ?

He “beat the cheat”.

I’ll leave it to trump.

And I don’t care who he nominates.

He has my vote if he wins the primary.

If someone else wins, we’ll see who it is…

No. It wouldn’t. History tells us that. Best case scenario for a VP is their P is very very popular at the end of his 8 and they MAYBE win the P job for 1 term. The whole VP as stepping stone thing is a myth. VP’s are way more like to wind up like Gore than Bush 1 or Biden (who didn’t run while VP and would have lost if he had). Way better for him to lose in 24, which Trump will do anyway, I doubt incumbent advantage fails 2 elections in a row, and have a high profile for 28.

Are these the same Republicans swearing on a stack of bibles there was no fraud in 2020 ? Kari Lake is, for now at least, obviously an unknown. She has most likely been radicalized by this entire experience but that remains to be seen.

—> Trump needs to find a platform to speak on. He has to return to twitter and get on air with radio to sell his agenda.

Would be good, but everything trump posts or says ripples through all media and resonates with the right people.

Trouble is he has missed out on being Chairman Paul (for now).

I was devastated.

He does good work of course but he’s a backbencher going no where there. Totally wasted.

I feel as a running mate he would be elevated at least...

Although others feel it’s of no use.

So Rand has to wait until ‘28, a lifetime in politics.

“It would also shut up McConnell.”

I don’t think that would matter, because Rand hasn’t really been a great friend or supporter of McConnell’s. More like a thorn in his side.

“All campaigns go through ups and downs.”

His campaign has not even started. The “downs” are a narrative assigned to him by the Trump-haters.

The Stacy Abrams/Beto O’Rourke approach? I should think he would want to pick someone who has proven he can at least win one state.

“anyone with clout will not be close to him as a VP pick”

Good. Maybe Trump will pick an outsider who will actually be loyal to him this time.

Many here, of a certain political leaning, like him but the issue is whether or not he’s liked in national scope.

Liked compared to whom ? If nothing else Trump will certainly show that he deserves it after being denied 4 years ago.

I have believed that whoever prevails, either Don or Ron, should select Kari.
