I hate to say it but he's right here especially about the constitution ("When did McConnell ever talk about due process, probable cause"?). The constitution is already shredded he says. Also good points about the Senate Republicans.

We lose because Republicans with Trump Derangement Syndrome refuse to vote for Trump supporting candidates. There is a small but important (to win) part of the Republican party (think Cheney) that would rather lose to Democrats than have a MAGA candidate win. It’s as simple as that.

They supported Trump the 1st time because and ONLY because they thought that he might be more liberal than he was letting on. Once they realized ... OMG!!! he is actually going to do what we are only supposed to SAY we would do if elected they turned on him.

It’s obvious to anyone paying attention.

Equal protection under the law. Gone.

Due process. Gone.

Free press, freedom of assembly, severely compromised.

The GOPe never supported Trump. They just couldn’t stop him.

Hillary was happy with Trump, for a while, thinking he would split the Republicans and make her steal easy. When he began to look unbeatable he became a Russian agent (not that Hillary hasn’t been a real one her whole life).

We lose because Republicans with Trump Derangement Syndrome refuse to vote for Trump supporting candidates.

Independents and swing voters also refuse to vote for these candidates and we can’t win without their votes as well, votes Trump won in 2016 but has lost in every election since.

Glenn Youngkin and Ron DeSantis showed us how to regain these voters. Trump wasn’t paying attention.

GOP will also lose because people like me have left the party and have gone Independent. We are no longer turning out to vote straight ticket as long as the system is rigged. Stick that up your ass, Mr Establishment Levine.

How can you have a “leader” like McConnel? It’s absurd.

MCConnell and company withhold support for conservative candidates then blame the “quality of the candidate” when they lose. He’s perfectly happy to lead the “controlled opposition”.

Going forward, the GOP needs to focus on Suburban housewives, Soccer moms, independents who lean D, minorities, especially Black females, climate activists, college aged Gen Z'ers, and migrants.

Trump also won a lot of Democrats the first time around. The NY Times published a list and a map of either congressional districts, or counties (wish I had saved it) that voted for Obama twice and then Trump.

All of them were between the Appalachians and the Rockies. Most of them were around the Great Lakes.

Most people here thought the messaging that won those districts - bringing back the jobs and closing the border - were secondary to their own ideas of greatness. But the Obama voters who actually elected Trump believed him - some of them still do - but not enough.

To do what Trump promised those people would require a chief executive able and willing to wield more power than FDR, and we have never had a weaker President in my lifetime, weaker in the sense of unable to form an effective government, even to the point of surrounding himself with snakes who laughed at him behind his back, published anonymous articles in opposition media attacking him, and eventually openly defied his orders in public.

He’s never getting those voters back. They may be unsophisticated but they aren’t stupid. Certainly not stupid enough to make “Dr. Oz” or Herschel Walker a Senator.

Most Americans are Democrats, republicans only win because they are actually motivated to vote
With early voting /mail in ballots the “unmotivated” can now vote. Republicans basically will never win again.

What DeSantis amd Trump show is that you have to believe in something important and stand up for it.

Most republican drool buckets like McConnel don’t believe in the agenda, don’t care and hence don’t stand up for it.

They’d rather play games to get rid of Trump, while the country is being torn down around us.

People aren’t stupid. They see what the Republicans aren’t doing.

Democrats LOVE that their party is a bunch of smash mouth thugs who do anything and everything to get what they want.

I’ve lived a long life watching Republicans handed issues on a silver platter and they set it aside and ignore it.

If democrats were sitting in jail for 2 years, they would have burned that Capitol Building to the ground and the GOP congress people would have been targeted and driven out of office.

And the statues in the Capitol would be to Ashli Babbitt (sp).

Do we forget they drove Newt Gingrich out of office, and when Republicans went after Clinton for crimes they drove the new GOP leader (Livingstone?) out on a sex scandal. Republicans are idiots.

So you prefer the 'hulk' and warnock to Dr. Oz and Herschel...OK, you win, but you are not stupid!

I expected more from you, you are usually logical and a noble man of honor, but now...

Do you think Ron DeSantis or Glenn Youngkin chased liberal votes?

They didn’t need to. They attracted these voters by being effective leaders running on popular policies.

Trump attracted these voters in 2016 by being only slightly less loathed than his opponent. This strategy isn’t nearly as effective for long term success.

Republicans are ALWAYS a day late, and a dollar short. I can’t think of a group that are more incompetent than Republicans. What a bunch of losers. They don’t know how to fight. They don’t know how to come together as a group and help America. They’re all paid off by lobbyists and fat cats who want nothing more than to destroy the Constitution and our country. It’s time to do away with the Republican party, after all they’re just Democrat lite.

Because a good many RINOs are part of the Uniparty. They’re the paid for opposition - like the Washington Generals to the Dem Globetrotters.

They go out and put on a good show but, in the end, they’re there to lose.

Why do this? you ask?

Because they’re profiteering off the system. Mitch doesn’t like to be in the majority because majorities are expected to accomplish something. He wants to be in the 49 or 48 seat minority that can ‘compromise’ (sell out) and do maximum cash in.

Go along to get along. If you’re a real opponent to the Uniparty, what do the RINOs do? They won’t fund your campaign or they’ll work for the opposition. One example is the close case of Lindsey Graham saying, “We need a Senate ban on abortion nationally once we have the majority.” That activated how many? A couple million? Those were anti-GOP votes. His comment wasn’t even based on the SCOTUS ruling, which made clear abortion was an issue for the states to decide. But he said it knowing it’d hurt conservatives.

No hearings on Hunter’s laptop. No pushback to the January 6 witchhunt. Dems are caught redhanded with the fake dossier or using the DOJ to manipulate social media and which Dem is raided at 3 a.m.? Which is convicted for failing to appear at a hearing or even required to show up and plead the 5th?

People see the game is rigged. Not only are the people opposing the Uniparty destroyed, anyone serving as their lawyer, supporter, etc. is targeted. True scorched earth policy.

Dem brownshirt Antifa thugs and BLM Marxists burn down entire cities. FBI is there with high res drones and where are the prosecutions? The entire ‘Summer of Rage’ likely a Deep State operation to create a sense of unease and fear to get the average sheeple to say, “We need to go back to normal!” Normal = Dems in control. But even that didnt’ work so they had to rig the game.

DeSantis is the latest ‘whack a mole’ canidate. As soon as Trump is pushed aside, ALL of the venom and 24/7 hate Trump has received for six years will go to Ron.

Remember Dems picked Trump. Trump was on Morning Joe every day and Hillary believed Trump was the easiest candiate for them to beat so they pushed him forward. Dems even went so far in the primaries last time out to financially support the ‘far right’ candidates they believed they’d be most likely to beat.

We are likely headed for Brazil-level chaos at some point as, unlike Europe or Canada, I don’t see Americans getting rolled over easily.

The GOPe is no more than a crony organization. Mitch McConnell is for himself and his power. He will destroy any candidate who doesn’t support Mitch’s self enrichment program.

Where they can, they rig the system to ensure that their guys win. Murkowski would have lost twice (primary and then general) in a regular election. Yet somehow a woman who has lost the support of her own party “represents” that party in the Senate.

Why does the GOP lose, because they want to. They lose because they don’t care who wins as long as they get paid.

The entire system is broken. They have figured a way to insulate themselves from the governed. But we are a threat to democracy or something.

I don’t prefer them, and you know it.

Knowing that Dr.Oz was going to lose, or that Herschel Walker was going to lose, isn’t “preferring” Fetterman and Warnock.
