Sean Spicer, Donald Trump’s first White House press secretary and a Harvard politics fellow, came under fire on Wednesday for a tweet in which he appeared to confuse one major second world war anniversary for another.
Spicer wrote: “Today is Dday [sic]. It only lives in infamy if we remember and share the story of sacrifice with the next generation. #DDay.”

Exactly.
I am sick of the slimy media.
It’s from SNL, back when they were making fun of Sean.
Isn’t this the day the Germans bombed Pearl Bailey?
Gee Biden confused Massachusetts for Georgia last week…. Any guardian stories about that
Platoon Leader didn’t help, took it at face value. Almost blew the entire evaluation. We passed…barely. I didn’t make any friends with the platoon leaders…I was acting XO, spoon fed their orders for the next, and final day. The Chief Evaluator heard every word of mine while standing outside the CP.
His reaction? “That was beautiful, LT.”
Earned me a lousy performance review, CO was mad at me for saving his arse (I basically ran the battery for the final 24 hours), but it also got me kicked up to Battalion HQ…my first platoon sergeant was at HQ, NCOIC of S-3, Operations.
Spicer is the kind of officer who should never be put in command of troops. Keep him at a desk back in the rear.
Wrong enemy
Wrong year
Wrong country

Did I forget anything?
Please be trolling...

(technically Spring and Fall)
Wrong Continent
Wrong Hemisphere
We weren’t even at war with Germany when the Japs hit us!
Shows you what a Harvard education is worth
Stay in school, kids.
Reminds me of when Bush, the elder, was giving a talk on September 7, and referred to it as Pearl Harbor Day.
You would get tongue tied to if you sat next to Linsey Keith.
And a lot more of it with all the illegals from who knows where Biden let in.
I’m old enough to remember listening to FDR’s speech on the radio. Knowing what we faced, it was a bit different than 9/11. My father was drafted and released from active service after being injured in a rescue operation for a downed pilot.
I was wondering - thought maybe it might be that
Wow. Pretty piss poor memory for a Navy man.
Indeed.
