I would stay my ass out of there then. Unless I liked coffee other people spit in.
I stopped going to Starbucks a long time ago—after they publicly announced they would prioritize the hiring of migrants over native Americans. That didn’t sit well with me.
I found a much better solution—I make my coffee at home—at a fraction of the cost of Starbucks. I can drink it at home or take it with me in a thermal cup.
Why are people relying on the food service industry to feed them? When I was going to college I worked in a restaurant kitchen and I saw things (use of spoiled foods, spitting in customer foods, etc.) that led me to avoid restaurants altogether.
And their coffee is better than Starbucks. š
NEVER had a coffee from Starbucks, so this will NEVER be an issue for us. Wife LOVES her coffee (beans from a roaster in the Blue Ridge mountains)...she is looking to give the ‘Bulletproof’ recipe a try in the near future.
Us real coffee connoisseurs prefer AM/PM, and 7-11 if itās not available
Iāll have McDonaldās coffee on road trips. I donāt think we have AM/PM here but there are a couple of 7/11s. Iāll have to try it if Iām ever near one and need a caffeine lift.
I go to a couple of indy coffee shops near me that are good, but mostly, I just make my coffee at home.
I don’t ever tip at a fast food joint. I also never go to Starbuck’s. I hate their coffee and their pretentious names and sizes.
I travel a lot for work. When I’m locally on the road, my first stop has usually been WAWA (a gas station chain that prints coffee money every morning)
They’ve raised their prices 4-5 times in the last two years. (I fully understand why)
I’ve begun making my own coffee in the mornings to save some cash.
A Reddit thread about the tipping system has racked up more than 100 comments.BIG BREAKING NEWS BOMBSHELL!!!!!
Okay. I am unfamiliar with the inner workings of a Starbucks. Wasn't sure what the normal protocol was.
A hard no for me, I tip (very well) for above and beyond service.
^^^^^^This.

Yes, because it rewards the slackers like Ocasio-Cortez along with the hard workers.
I always laugh when pro football players cheer each other just for doing their job. My husband is a mechanic and I try picturing him high fiving the crew when he finishes a job well done, also makes me laugh. Rarely does he get a tip and that’s ok, he makes a good wage. Everybody wants accolades just for showing these days.
I don’t tip at the large chains. I sometimes tip at our local mom and pops, especially when the remember me and ask about me.
you sound like my husband. I always tell him to ignore the tip option on to go food.
Given that it’s a left-wing company that sells nasty coffee I figured they’d just add on the “tip” without even asking the customer.
"What is that creamy stuff floating on top of my black coffee?!"
I am devastated to report that I do not have a favorite Starbucks barista.
Lol. My wife found out years ago that Scambucks gives her a headache. And she loves coffee. McD is her usual when out of the house.
I found as a teen that I like the smell of coffee at times, but decided it tastes like dirt. I also hate to burn my tongue or abuse my teeth. I’m a rarity: a guy that drove truck OTR... without coffee (and with the exception of rare ice tea, never any other caffiene; and no pills).
I don’t like a hand tied up holding a drink either. You never know when you might need that hand.
