I’ll stick with Joe Bastardi’s predictions at Weather Bell. I know many here are fans as well.

‘The Saturday Summary’ video is at the bottom of the page. Worthwhile viewing each week as we go into Winter.

Park City opened on November 16 with 433% of snowpack for this time of year.

Last time was 26 years ago.

Dont tell the crazies.

We have snow on the north facing hills from two weeks ago. More expected late this week. Local ski areas partially opened a week or so ago. 13 degrees the other day for overnight low. 🤔❄😲

Here at our ski area in Eastern Idaho we have already received 100 inches of snow. That’s 8 feet and more coming, it is not even winter yet. Temp’s have been below zero every morning for weeks. Our local liberal paper is advising us not to get our hopes up about the ski season though because of “global warming’ or something. This lib journalist’s are all depressed that reality is going against the established narrative. They can bite me.

“Follow the Tonga Volcano of Jan. 15, 2022 “

You are absolutely correct, and since it happened late in winter the effect is more prominent now. What I am surprised by, is the lack of discussion on the topic. We know that the Krakatoa explosion caused ‘the little ice age’ in 1815, I believe.

I better cut some more firewood.

To be fair, over 90% of that snow is concentrated around the Buffalo NY area.

(that’s humor, or my attempt at it, so no taking it seriously.)

But they promised global warming. Can I sue Al Gore because this is going to delay my beachfront tropical resort in Buffalo, NY? Even considering moving the plans to further south to Cleveland.

“”Controlling climate is impossible””

Controlling how people feeeeel about the climate is another matter. When presented with facts that do not coincide with a liberal’s feelings, liberals resort to the old tried, and not, so true, racism charge. You see, in the summer ‘people of color’ are not smart enough, according to liberal wackos, to seek out shade, and perhaps air conditioning. So, instead of advocating air conditioning for everyone, wackos want more people without air conditioning. (If they were ever to significantly succeed in diminishing the use of air conditioning, they would probably attack sitting and standing in the shade, since not everyone, and especially ‘people of color’ have access to shade).

I demand that we spend billions of dollars to stop Global Warming!
Oops. Maybe I should have said “Global Cooling” there.

This Climate Change stuff sure is confusing.

It is my firm belief that the climate is mostly self-regulated. Something causes it to get warm.. something changes to cool it off again.

Only something like the sun changing, a comet, or massive volcanic explosion can have any big impact.

We have a winter storm warning for the Cascades and the foot hills east of Seattle.

All the mountain passes expect heavy snow or possible closures.

Curiously, Seattle has been in a moderate drought since July.

Our rain fall since October 01 (start of rainy season) is about 35% below normal.

This is our third La Nina winter in a row, which is quite unusual.

La Nina pushes colder than normal ocean water towards Washington state.

Colder ocean water usually means less precipitation, including less snow.
