Once the government can control all money in America with the push of a button, anything approaching liberty is dead on arrival.
When I first saw the acronym “CBDC,” I may have betrayed my California roots when I thought it was some new cannabis product that will join all the other CBD products sold everywhere, including at truck stops. I’m not so naïve now, and I know that CBDC, which stands for Central Bank Digital Currency, is possibly the most dangerous idea ever bandied about in American politics.
The plan is that the federal government would end paper and coin money in favor of purely digital money—all under the government’s control. Suddenly, in addition to your bank’s ATM, you would be dependent on the federal government’s ATM

Tucker Carlson discussed it on his Friday night show, during which he said, correctly, that it would be the end of America because it would make us all slaves to the government. Do what the government says, and you can buy food and pay rent. Offend the government, and you will be cut off. Suddenly, every American would be a potential January 6 prisoner.
Sadly, Fox News doesn’t seem to have posted a video of that segment, nor can I find any other videos. However, the gist of it was that our government is claiming that we need CBDC because it’s what China is doing (remember: social credit system) and it’s the only way to keep up with China. Tucker’s guest, whose name I cannot remember for the life of me, said that the flip side of this approach is arguably better: As “money” becomes a button in a government office, people are going to flock to a country that still has actual currency outside of the government’s control.

Pretty sure Big Tech knew about my spending habits long before my post. Mailing in cash for water bill, taxes, cc payment, internet and electricity is kind of tricky.
Far too many people are too busy displaying the fruit associated with being turned over to depraved minds to care what else Scripture says will come upon them.

I agree, though ultimately it will be a world governing body that runs it all.
I know some people are withdrawing cash now just because of the economy and not knowing how the banking industry will operate under rough conditions.
I’m not so sure they do. Unless you opt for bigger bills maybe.
Consider I pull a 20 out of the ATM. I spend it at Walmart. Some other guy buys something small with a 50. He gets the 20, keeps it in his wallet for a week then goes and buys a burrito with it.
It finally makes its way back to the bank to be scanned in. There is a lot of data missing, and the treasury has no idea what happened in the middle.
I guess with big transactions they would know more, like if I took out $5k then bought a car from some dude with it. Assuming he turned around and put it all right back in the bank.
But if he kept it and used it for WAM for a year...
Probably the only useful data they would have from scanning bills that is if they found a pile of cash and all the SNs were distributed to one person, they could go talk to that guy.
That's why I said we should use cash for everything possible.

I have started following the One World Religion Center. It is suppose to represent Jewish, Christian and Islam as a “peace” project but I don’t think so. Very interesting.

My friend, you are correct. No argument here. Romans 1: 18-31 tells us all of it. I wish people who claim to be evangelical Christians would take the time to stop and read those verses. If they would, then them might understand what the heck is going on and what is down the road. I guess I need to stop and quit reading some of the reporting on how many Christians are really in America. I read one time and it says around 9% of Americans are really Bible believing, Christ saving, true Christians. Now I read it may be as LOW as 6%. THAT is truly sad. I wish it were better, but I think they may be right about that number. Far too many think their works will get them there. It ain’t enough folks. Works don’t work.

I try to encourage people, though, by referencing that time He had said some hard things and as a consequrnce many who had been following Him ceased. He then turned to the 12 and asked if they would leave too. Peter’s response was “To whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”
Now we live in a day so flippant that the “hard things” people can no longer bear to hear are are things like take responsibility, men can’t be women, don’t murder your babies, have basic morals and so forth.
Those in addition to the hard things that have always been issues.
In our own time when Christ proverbially asks us if we will leave too our answer can be the same as Peter’s: “To whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”
Clinging to the Lord ... well, as it says He will by no means turn us away ... there is always a remnant.

Anything that's smaller than a few hundred dollars:
A monthly train or bus pass, restaurants, oil changes, et cetera.
