If you pull off the tip and see that it is a pin. And your recliner is fabric. I think they could be upholstery pins.

I’m going to stick my neck out and suggest they’re something to do with upholstery...maybe driven into fabric and stuffing. The blob on the end would keep it from backing out Of course it’s just a guess.

They would be pins from a hairbrush. The rivet looking end is embedded in the handle and the rubber end is anti-poke cover.
