The Dengue Virus Has Been Found in Arizona

Earlier this week, health officials reported that a Maricopa County resident recently contracted dengue, while routine surveillance has found traces of the dengue virus in at least one nearby mosquito population. These discoveries suggest that the infection could be spreading locally in the state for the first time, though the investigation is still ongoing.

Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) officials announced the human case of dengue on Monday, though no other details about the patient were provided. They also reported that the Maricopa County Environmental Services Department had detected the virus last month in samples taken from a mosquito trap in a neighborhood of the county. Though there have been cases of dengue reported in Arizona before, they’ve been found in people who likely caught it while recently traveling to countries where the disease is endemic. But given the surveillance data, officials say, it’s possible that this is the first locally transmitted case of dengue to be reported in the county and the state as a whole.

leprosy! we need to import leprosy, more leprosy!

LEPROSY STILL OCCURS IN THE UNITED STATES: ARE YOU AT RISK?

In recent years, a few people in the United States have been diagnosed with leprosy, a disease that many believe no longer exists. While the very word “leprosy” evokes fear in people around the world, there’s no need to panic.

Yeah, right?

Couldn’t be that millions of human garbage flooding the border could have anything to do with it.

I’m sure it’s a sheer coincidence that Arizona is on the southern border.

I have had dengue, too. It is a sickness that keeps on giving. I survived it, but needed IV fluids for a time. Then, a month after the sickness the skin on my hands and feet peeled off. About four months after, my hair started falling out and I lost about 50% of it. And then there is dengue brain fog as well as a lingering dengue depression.

It is an illness I would wish on my enemies.

Maricopa County, the same Maricopa County that has repeatedly taken days upon days to create/manufacturer DEM ballots/votes, errr, to count ballots/votes?

The Dengue virus is there....

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Quarantine the sick. Protect the vulnerable. Hang the guilty. Free everyone else.

Infectious Disease ping - Arizona, Maricopa County, found traces of the dengue virus in at least one nearby mosquito population.

Illegals not only bring that DIVERSITY Democrats crave - they bring bounteous other things, too. Measles, tuberculosis, flesh eating diseases, AIDs and HIV, polio and who knows what else we’d all but eradicated in this country before their grand inclusion into our diversity crap pile.
