The famous Jewish actor and humorist Gad Elmaleh, beloved in France, announced his conversion to the Catholic faith, a process in which he says the Virgin Mary played a crucial role.
Elmaleh, 51, was the partner of Charlotte Casiraghi, the daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco, with whom they have a son named Rafael.
His conversion to Catholicism is depicted in his new film, “Reste un peu,” (“Stay a while”).
The Jewish actor, who according to the Spanish newspaper El Mundo will take the name of Jean-Marie when he is baptized, has studied theology in Paris, and in 2019 he participated in a musical in London about St. Bernadette Soubirous, the visionary who saw Our Lady of Lourdes.
Elmaleh told the French newspaper Le Figaro that “the Virgin Mary is my most beautiful love” and expressed his surprise that in France the “vast majority of Catholics don’t live their faith openly.”
As a child, he recounted in the interview, he entered a church and saw an image of the Mother of God.
“It wasn’t a vision, just a simple statue, but I was petrified. I began to cry and hid for fear of being discovered by my family, for fear of curses and superstition. I kept it a secret for my entire childhood,” he recalled.

Hebrew 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Simeon prophesied. The writer of the Letter to The Hebrews has offered incite, but that incite does not fit the diefication of the Mother of Jesus that your religion of catholiciism attributes so you are simply unable to make the connection! The clues are there, glaring at you as you twist the passage to support your dead soul rejection. You are an extremely dishonest person with the scriptures. No wonder you rely upon the traditions of men of catholiciism!
BTW, did you even notice that I posed the connection as a query not an assertion? LOL
Your accusation is false. The only reason I quoted was so people would know which of your content I was replying to. The truncation was just to save time; I did not engage in any twisted reasoning at all based on the truncation.
BTW, did you even notice that I posed the connection as a query not an assertion?
No. But even at that, your reasoning suggests that Mary was baptized in the Holy Spirit, based on the resemblance of the words of Simeon, to the text of Hebrews 4:12. The obvious counter question is, since Peter and the Apostles were baptized with the Spirit, how come nobody talked to THEM about getting pierced with a Sword?
Whypepl and sunspots again.
Why? Where was Simeon when the pregnant Mary visited? Were any of the Apostles there then? ... As an aopologist you are stumbling on your dogmas. And yes, your methodology is all about twisting in order to support the catholiciism dogmas you embrace, whether actually true or not, so long as the Catholic Org of Rome promotes them.
I am beginning to suspect you are inebriated.
LOL, thatta boy, use that Catholicized imagination! You can condemn anyone with Rome’s perspectives ...
“...whether actually true or not, so long as the Catholic Org of Rome promotes them.”
THAT is the whole problem in a nutshell, MHG.
I asked at least twice if claiming that there was another sinless person other than Christ Jesus was not blasphemous, but got no direct answer.
And I noticed that my question regarding Genesis 3:15 being changed by the RCC wasn’t a problem for Catholics. Again, silence.
So, it seems to me, that the truth of God’s word is constantly rejected and replaced with opinions of man. There seems to be no hesitancy in accepting such within Catholocism.
Once you get a person to that point, the rest of the deception should be easy.
Very easy.
May Catholics open their eyes to what has been done with God’s word and at least admit it’s a problem. That would be a start.
And let’s hope that start begins before it’s too late.
“...whether actually true or not, so long as the Catholic Org of Rome promotes them.”
It’s a real problem when people claim that Christ Jesus is Savior but yet have somewhat of a Co-Savior by another “sinless” person in the made-up Mary of Catholicism. This explains well the hard push against Sola Scriptura. Without outside lies/opinions of man, this “Mary” does not exist except in the pagan world.
It’s the blending of God’s word with man’s word and that says pretty much that God is on the same low level as man.
When people know what is written in God’s word and still say, “Well, yeah. That’s what it says, but ...” there’s a real problem: it’s no longer the word of God they’re believing and obeying, but rather man’s word which is more comfortable to their (wishful) thinking.
Thank you, Elsie, for consistently posting for those who pass by so they won’t be taken in by the lies.
There was no specifically Catholic dogma in pointing out that your word salad speculation about Hebrews 4 was not sufficient evidence for Mary's having received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit in the Upper Room with the other Apostles.
LOL ... Paul wrote about your ilk, regarding not understanding spiritual things because they are spiritually discerned. Perhaps denial IS a river in Egypt for you ...
You’re wrong.
As usual.
If you survive the massive chaos following the Rapture of Believers -coming soon- don’t accept the MArk even if an apparition of Mary commands it.
You know the various Protestant groups can’t even agree on pre-trib, mid-trib, or post-trib rapture.
...Hal Lindsey wept. What happened to the “blossoming of the fig tree” being Israel becoming a nation, and 1 generation after that being 40 years, so the End Times were supposed to have started in 1988?
I don’t know whether you do, or ever did believe that. But some the Protestant circles I traveled in, certainly did.
Quit jumping the gun, we don’t know when the End Times are.
Why is it that only Catholics decry posting Scripture as being spam?
MHG:——>If you survive the massive chaos following the Rapture of Believers -coming soon- don’t accept the MArk even if an apparition of Mary commands it.
He says that to everyone that disagrees with him. He doesn’t have a clue what the MOTB is. Absolutely clueless on bible prophecy and doctrine.

Isaiah 53
Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
Surely he took up our pain 7 He was oppressed and afflicted, Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
8 By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was punished.[b]
9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.
and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
11 After he has suffered,
he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e];
by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,[g]
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,[h]
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.
“The word rosary means ‘Crown of Roses,’ that is to say that every time people say the Rosary devoutly they place a crown of one hundred and fifty-three white roses and sixteen red roses upon the head of Jesus and Mary.
Being heavenly flowers these roses will never fade or lose their exquisite beauty.”
-St. Louis De Montfort
So true, as NOTHING has been shown that indicates that Mary was in the Upper Room.
Huh. Learn something new every day.
Reckon the 153 number came about by the fish account?
Amen and Amen
You'll know when the pope tells you when they are.
Well, maybe not the CURRENT pope!
