With Conservatives point finger at Trump after GOP’s underwhelming election results: 'He's never been weaker'
Many conservatives say Tuesday's election results show it's 'time to move on' from Trump. (Fox News'', November 9, 2022), as well as the Wall Street Journal - what do Freepers think?
My feelings exactly. Time for new blood.

Oh wow media blames Trump for midterm tests, but not the establishment repub.
Uh, did you read the article?
DeSantis is AGAINST everything you just claimed.
Agree. Trump has too much baggage.. Need someone younger. Rob is the real deal. Humble background. Worked his way thru school. Attorney. Naval background. Lovely young family. He ain’t no senators son.
You will be voting for Trump in Nov. ‘24.
Get used to the idea.
Where else are you going to go?
MAGA is a great slogan, because who can really say out loud that they DON’T want to make America great again?
It should remain the slogan even should Trump not be the nominee in ‘24.

You believe that I got swamp land in Minnesota to sell you cheap

Yes, and there is a systemic fraud now built into our election process. The Rats don't even bother focusing on votes, they focusing on harvesting ballots, real or fake.
It seems only DeSantis and Abbott were prepared for this, and prepared to fight it.
I think he should retire because he got rolled by the people who put together that Supreme Court nominee vetting list that excluded all the Protestants.
He did raise a lot of money from Republicans, and apparently didn’t spend it on competitive Republican races. That was unhelpful.
Both of those things helped set the stage for less than stellar results, but I don’t think you can say it was all Trump’s fault. I think the people that used him to get those Supreme Court nominees would be only too happy for him to take all the blame, but he’s not a conspirator, he’s more like a conspiratee.
The people who are actually to blame are probably going to be hard to root out, after all, there are a whole lot of very fine Roman Catholic politicians and public servants who really are some of America’s greatest assets. Then too there is the fact that despite this oft duplicated and very odd no-exceptions abortion ban being done in the name of religious piety, they somehow all decided without dissention that LGBT issues were completely off the table. That tells me that Christians are not to blame for this, though some got sucked in. More than likely the idea is to set up some sort of holy war between Catholics and Protestants while making both camps look like evil fools. That makes this seem more like foreign meddling by America’s enemies.
I think we have a conspiracy and that the participants behind this conspiracy are the people to blame. For the record, I think you can start with Greg Abbotts immediate orbit, Scott Walker’s circle, and the authors of that Supreme Court vetting list. I think somewhere in all of these places are foreign agents intent on destroying America.
I think it is terrible. The only way Trump could even remotely be blamed is because the Democrats and media have made him the issue since the day he came down the elevator to this very moment.
That said, it is time to move on from President Trump. Do not believe he can win for several reasons, mostly the stigma of DJT. I truly support him, but the Mar-a-lago debacle is looming and is not going to go away as designed.
This.
Oz was a carpetbagger. People from PA don’t like carpetbaggers. Crudite anyone. He didn’t even know the name of the store he was in, a popular chain in PA.
Agreed!
1000 percent!
It’s bullsh*t.
Desantis is a politician. Trump is not.
ML/NJ
NOPE!!!!
Asinine. He worked his butt off. McConnel did serious sabotage with his comment about bad candidates and then he seriously hurt Masters and NH by pulling ads that tells the non informed not to bother because the GOP doesn’t think they had a chance. Add to that the number of abortion initiatives on the ballots and the free money to college flakes and you know what happened.
Anyone blaming Trump is way too stupid to follow, that kind of low IQ will lead you off a cliff
There’s plenty of blame to go around.
Our candidates not raising any money and being left to twist in the wind is something to blame on the right in general. We totally lack the organization the Left does. Money doesn’t win elections alone, but it certainly helps - a lot.
