Video released by the Baltimore Police Department shows the fatal shooting of “anti-violence activist” Tyree Moorehead, The incident occurred Sunday afternoon.
When officers arrived, Moorehead was seen lunging at a woman with a large kitchen knife, and an officer opened fire, fatally striking him.
Moorehead was the creator of the city’s “no shoot zones,” which he spray-painted around neighborhoods in an effort to reduce gun violence.
WARNING: The video is graphic.
VIDEO AT LINK....................
My problem is that they had a graphic on screen that said that aid was being administered to the victim. It was being administered to the PERP.
He was still moving on the ground and it took a few seconds for him to drop the knife. Until he does they are not going to render aid.
So how many rounds should he have fired?
Give me a break keyboard commando.
Race of either didn’t into my thoughts. Not that I’m unaware of those like the people in Only Black Lives Matter.
I am surprised there wasn’t a lot more blood from Morebutt’s worthless carcass.
My sons department just switched to gen 5 Glock 19’s from gen 4 Glock 22’s. Most of the department isn’t happy with the change in caliber. They had a shooting and a gunfight last year with two officers and the .40S&W proved to be an effective round in quickly stopping the bad guys.
I noticed that too..........
Actually be someone or something I’m responding to or about, otherwise they aren’t your breaks to demand you should get.
I am intrigued by the driver using no hands on the steering wheel.
Did he shoot the perp (called a victim when being treated) while he was still on top of the woman? Glad I didn’t have to take that chance.
And his last shots had a bystander in line of fire. And maybe at risk because it seems that those 12 plus shots did not all hit the perp.
We have a high profile anti-violence activist in our city. Seems like a good gig with benefits and just tailor made for a carney.

He must have stock in the ginsu concession.

cue the .45 vs 9mm argument...
I’ve always said shot placement vs. caliber is a much better determination of lethality. If I can place every one of my shots in your eyeball I could carry a .22LR FWIW...
The caliber should always start with at least a .4
“Those last shots were a bit over the top. The guy was not a threat by then.”
You are only able to make the guess that he was no longer a threat AFTER the entire incident is over.
He still had the knife in his hand when the officer fired his last shot. The perp then dropped the knife but continued to reach for it after the last shot.
It would have been foolish to ASSUME the perp was no longer a threat. That is something to verify, which is what happened. And then they rendered aid.
( I see this and have to admire the efficiency and restraint of the Kyle Rittenhause hat trick. 2 felon take downs 2 shots, 1 shot one Felon "Disarmed".)
Yes. IF you could always place every shot in an eyeball while running, cringing, and being shot at, a .22 is plenty.
The trooper emptied his gun at the buck from about 20 feet. All he hit was to blow off an antler on one side. The buck didn't get hit with one round. I then offered the trooper my .38 revolver. He accepted and walked up behind the buck and put two in his ear from about five feet.
He was really quite embarrassed. I don't judge.
About half the deer was salvageable. The rest had a lot of blood clotted muscle and damage. The gorgeous rack was of course now only half a rack.
Wait...was this a no shoot zone?
This officer may be in deep doodoo!
Obviously, it wasn’t a no stab zone.
Still had the knife in his hand.
You would be surprised what “dead” animals and people can do.
