Oz’s initial campaign ads were terrible. They showed him wandering around PA factories with a silly grin on his face. But his new ones are great. They are focusing on Fetterman’s horrible record when it comes to crime.

I think that’s what’s doing the trick.

This poll is several days old and was posted when new. It’s very aggravating to think there’s a new poll to back up previous polls’ data, only to find out, “oh, that IS the old poll.”

I came to PA ( Berks ) from NJ in 2001 + 3 family members. We came here to escape NJ and NEVER voted Democrat. Most others I know came here for the same reason. NJ is lost, our vote never felt like it mattered there...

Any poll showing Shapiro only up 2 I’m calling complete BS on.

Mastriano has been down double digits the entire cycle, and nothing has moved the needle.. and there is NOTHING going on on the ground to move the needle suddenly 7 or 8 points.

While I would expect some tightening in the race, to say that Mastriano suddenly is only 2 points behind overnight, is just not believable.

Mastriano is barely present on the airwaves or in ads, the State and National GOP are not supporting him... if you do see a Governor’s ad (rare to see at all) its an attack ad against him.

I would love to see Mastriano win, as far as I’m concerned this is by far the more important race going on statewide in PA right now... but there is nothing going on on the ground to make me believe Mastriano, after months of trailing by 10 points consistently, just miraculously overnight jumped 8 points..

This is a major outlier... I would not bet the farm on this being accurate.

The spread should close some as election day approaches. but nothing happened to cause an 8 point overnight shift. The governors race is almost completely overwhelmed by the Senate nonsense this cycle.

We will see very soon, but I would be HIGHLY dubious of this poll...

Mastriano Shapiro did not suddenly, and for no reason go from being Shapiro up 10 consistently for months, to miraculously a 2 point race for no known reason.

Yes, there should be SOME tightening in the race, but 8 points overnight... calling BS on this poll.

Fetterman’s stroke clearly has made him unable to campaign at an agressive level that one would expect.

However, neither of these two belong anywhere near the Senate.. both are just terrible candidates.

When its all said and done somewhere around $200 Million combined will be spent to buy this seat.. and the vast majority of it comes from outside PA.

This race is a joke on every level... only thing certain about it is, regardless of who wins, the USA and PA loses....

Without question the worst 2 candidates I’ve ever seen in my lifetime for Senate... this race is the full on proof of just how screwed up our system of government is. Two people who shouldn’t be allowed to run for dog catcher...

I agree it’s B.S. as far as Mastriano is concerned. Shapiro has been hammering him non-stop with radio and t.v. ads for weeks. Mastriano’s an anti-Semite; he hates women and takes away their rights; he’s bought ad space on an anti-Semitic website; he consorts with QAnon types; etc., etc. He’s being convicted with his own words. Unfortunately, in the Republican debates he boxed himself in by taking the hardest line possible on every issue. No explaining his positions. He has a tin ear when it comes to politics.

I have not seen one Mastriano ad on t.v. or heard a radio ad. None. Mastriano is being defined as a rightwing nut and he is not responding, not attacking, not defending himself. No way he’s only two points down. It would take a miracle for him to win.
