Thinden, the other thing I do, is anytime one of pets needs an abx, I save the bottle, so if I am in an emergency situation, I know the proper dosage for my pets. That’s if the SHTF, otherwise, they go to the vet lol.
I know I can use CBD oil for my cats.. it helps calm and fights pain. Oliver gets very aggressive on CBD oil, but I know I can give some dog buffered aspirin for pain if I can’t get to the vet. Used to be you could order fluids and I kept those on hand.. but you can’t just order a case of fluids anymore.

Two points only:
1 JMHO the NFL hasn't played REAL football for at least thirty years. (Or at least since the sportscasters took control and outlawed "violent" things like headslaps and forearm shivers practiced with such glee by Old School linebackers/pulling guards like me.) Worse yet, they've polluted the game all the way down to grade school levels so that the only way those kids can learn the game is on the sly with their grandpa.
2 The sorry individuals they've got running around playing HeyLookAtMe are just the symptoms of the NFL's brain/guts death, the "take a knee" crowd is just the worst of a bad lot that by and large wouldn't know good character if it bit 'em on the butt and every bit of it is exactly as their masters in the MSM desired.
"Character" for that bunch of losers is something you see in a comic book.

I’ve done those checks on the 1911, plus make sure the grip safety works, the actual safety, and with hammer back, smacking (with my hand) each side of the slide to see if I can cause it to drop.
I also learned to check my AR fully after I reassemble it, or anything on it. Even a cleaning deserves a safety check, if only to stay in practice.
Time to go back outside and finish putting the concrete stone border along the planter. Slow, tedious work, but much nicer than those plastic borders.
