I suspect that most problems of gender confusion trace back to single parent families with no effective male role model. Men teach boys how to be men and value that, and they teach girls how be valued as women by men. Without men in the home, the kids only get one role model. It’s little wonder we’re running out of alpha men.

From what I understand, Cubans in Miami understand tyranny and are happy to be in the United States and adopt the Country as their own. But I can’t speak on that because I’ve never lived in Florida.
I am certainly not trying to paint all those coming from the South with a broad brush. I live, work and socialize with plenty of people from the southern countries. I am a believer in legal immigration, and welcome legal brothers and sisters from all countries.
Having said that , a man living in my area may describe the Mexican man as a hard-worker and all around nice guy. And he would be right.
The woman who shops (no I’m not being sexist, it’s how it is) will tell you that the Mexican woman uses EBT to feed her spawn, while the hard working Mexican man stands by with a 3 inch roll of cash to buy the beer and put gas in his new peek-up truck.
If you have ever spent time in West Texas…you know I’m right.

I never got into to the forward area with all the folding chairs. That area filled up within minutes of them letting people in, while I was still near the beginning of end of the line. I quickly realized that I would have had to have been in that line way, WAY more than the hour early that I had managed. (And five times as many chairs would not have been enough to seat everyone.)
Instead, I backed out of the line to mingle with all the people with the sense not to spend forever waiting for the line to get up to speed.
I passed out a bunch of these 2"x3" weatherproof peel and stick Memes while explaining the deliciously subversive utility of Polaroid "Mint" and HP "Sprocket" pocket BlueTooth "Zink" printers.
I had some great Tacos al Pastor and I listened to people that didn't know Q repeat things WE have learned and shared, and to other people that did know about Q, and then some... 🐸
THEN I got back in line, only to get asked to turn my shirt inside out by the green clad cop, to the mild consternation of the folks that had been happily chatting with me in line.
I didn't bother removing the yellow shirt after that, as by that time family and frens knew to look for it, and as long as the sun was inescapable, the Q was clearly visible under it regardless. After sundown, it seemed everyone was already on the same page, anyway. I had a great time, and it was refreshing to get out and converse with so many good people.
