Over 30,000 Americans appear to have been killed by mechanical ventilators or other forms of medical iatrogenesis throughout April
2020, primarily in the area around New York.
This result is not altogether surprising, as subsequent studies revealed a 97.2% mortality rate among those over age 65 who were put on mechanical ventilators in accordance with the initial guidance from the WHO—as opposed to a 26.6% mortality rate among those over age 65 who weren’t put on mechanical ventilators—before a grassroots campaign put a stop to the practice by the beginning of May 2020.
As one doctor later told the Wall Street Journal, “We were intubating sick patients very early. Not for the patients’ benefit, but in order to control the epidemic… That felt awful.”
To put this in perspective, patients over age 65 were more than 26 times as likely to survive if they were not placed on mechanical ventilators.

I think the author doth exaggerate too much.
It would probably have been better had he written, “Here are a few lies that the vast majority of Americans believe that the vast majority of Americans believe.”
The problem is that while a majority of people “feel” something is wrong with these so-called statements of truth, they probably also feel they are on shaky ground in that so many around seemingly believe the lies. So they question whether they are the ones who are right. Or they are not well-read and not good at arguing or recalling facts and points that would support their argument, so they don’t challenge people who believe these lies.
I wish I had time to run some little social experiments and gauge where people are at on these lies by walking around with a clipboard and asking them some questions while pretending to be a graduate student working on a research project, but working on the house, working to make up for the slack of my co-workers, and taking care of my aunt who keeps being careless and falling leaves me with little time.
Hell, it would be fun to enroll in a graduate class where I could come up with an idea on a seminar paper that would be focused somewhat on items from this list and then argue with the professor and students about it and write an article about that experience.
I found the the MICU (Medical, or sick people, not just surgical recoveries) was where most ventilator deaths were occurring. My friends spoke as if they were all dying once ventilated. To me this indicated the Medical History (or Hx) was a genuine factor. We also had a Cardiac ICU. The PICU and NICU (Pediatric and Neonatal) tended to be staffed by such who rarely worked elsewhere. Such persons were not allowed anywhere near Covid Patients or Health Care Workers working with those poor people.
Most of us were happy with these arrangements. Of course we just about all had almost regular shifts in the ER/Trauma Rooms. That was where the action was. .
It struck me as odd that the MICU Patients died in seemingly higher numbers than the other Units. It reminded me of the N1H1 Patients of ten years or so earlier, who were incredibly susceptible to the Covid thing. If a person had an immune compromised system, they were hit hard by the N1H1. Many died, but few read about it. For sure though, there was a lot of guessing going on with this Covid 19.
The Physicians were tweaking the ventilators constantly. Often with absurdly minor adjustments. Sometimes they ordered very stupid things. This brought head to head confrontations frequently between Department Managers. I could provide a few examples, but most would not likely appreciate it. The difference between a pressure control level is unique to each person, but some of these persons were ordering dangerously high pressures, and we were ordered to not comply.
The fact of the matter is that We in my Department were the ‘Experts’ on ventilator management’ and I believe that was resented a bit. The Doctors may have all been brilliant in a number of ways. They knew pharmacology, hematology, pulmonary, hepatic functions, all sorts of things, but as a general rule for them it was ‘hands off the ventilators.’ This policy was often violated.
