This is tragic and infuriating on a hellish level that makes me weep for these kids.
Twitter put a "sensitive" content warning on the tweet because it contains two screenshots from Reddit where a girl who has been mutilated to look like a man writes about how she has nothing to live for because she feels like a freak of nature.
I'm going to post her story here because these stories need and deserve to be told, but it's raw, folks. Proceed with the understanding that this is weighty, horrific stuff.

God in heaven above, be with these girls and boys who have been mutilated by the high priests of Wokeism. My heart breaks at this – shatters into a thousand pieces at the pain these kids must now suffer because their parents and doctors sacrificed them to the spirit of the age.
The doctors who do these things are horrid criminals, but the apathetic masses who don't care enough to speak up against this monstrosity are somehow even worse.
And for those who care but are too afraid to say something, it is a kindness to merely call them cowards.
A line has been drawn. Kids are being chopped up for a cult. The time to speak up is now.

Tennessee Republican Governor Bill Lee has called for an investigation of the Pediatric Transgender Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) after shocking videos posted by Matt Walsh detailed a doctor’s promotion of “big money maker” transgender surgeries.The videos obtained by Walsh also show apparent threats made against medical professionals at VUMC if they objected to the procedures, even for religious reasons.
“The ‘pediatric transgender clinic’ at Vanderbilt University Medical Center raises serious moral, ethical and legal concerns,” Lee said in a statement to The Daily Wire. “We should not allow permanent, life-altering decisions that hurt children or policies that suppress religious liberties, all for the purpose of financial gain. We have to protect Tennessee children, and this warrants a thorough investigation.”
Lee’s comments follow a detailed thread from Daily Wire host and author Matt Walsh on the medical center. In one of the video’s shared by Walsh, VUMC Clinic for Transgender Health’s Dr. Shayne Sebold Taylor admitted, “These surgeries are labor intensive, they require a lot of follow-ups, they require a lot of our time, and they make money,” she emphasized. “They make money for the hospital.”
I’m usually a rather hardhearted jerk.
Those two reddit posts are absolutely heartbreaking. I’m not sure what I would say to them ... It’s bad enough when someone does something horrible to you against your will. It’s far worse when people who should be trustworthy persuade you to be complicit in the horrible things. I’m truly at a loss. The damage done to them is truly irreparable. They need Jesus ... badly ... but I’m not even sure how to say that without sounding smarmy.
The people who mutilate children’s bodies like this, and the people who persuade the children to be complicit in it, should hang.
Add that to the list of "Things Which Should Not Exist".
The statute of limitations on pediatric medical malpractice is very, very long and should be used against those who did this to these children!
Then the American Medical Association (AMA) got busy.
To increase doctor income, the AMA, among other initiatives, reduced supply of doctors by restricting through “accreditation” the number of medical schools.
Then, the competition to get into medical schools became intense because A) as doctor income rose, more students wanted to get admitted B) to fewer med school openings. Also, more students wanted to become doctors for financial reasons rather than humanitarian reasons.
Pre-med students became cut-throat competitive, and many cheat on college exams. Because of the cheating, a student can't compete unless the student either is off-the-charts brilliant and hard-working or also cheats. Cheating becomes a vicious cycle.
Result: A significant proportion of doctors are unscrupulous money-grubbers.

I can be as callous as the next person, but you are correct, those two reddit posts are heartbreaking.
Can you imagine how it breaks God’s heart to see people treat each other like that, or to be used as pawns of Satan to destroy lives?

For professional reasons, I have read unexpurgated accounts of Vietcong/North Vietnamese, Japanese, Cuban, and Nazi German treatment of prisoners of war. It’s wrenching and hard to take. Very hard.
This business of mutilating children is worse. IMO. Much harder to wrap my head around, and far more outrageous.
This is NOT what God made us for.

Yet another Thing Which Should Not Exist.
The way they lie to and manipulate the kids is exceptionally outrageous and disgusting.
My two youngest children suffer from an incurable endocrine defect. For my middle child, it resulted in hyperandrogenism and gender dysphonia. The free floating androgens were being recognized as testosterone by the adrenal receptors in her brain. My child did not need hormones to masculinize; it was happening naturally, would continue to happen for the rest of her life, and there was nothing we could do to stop it. When she said her brain was telling her she was a boy, the Endocrinologists (2 teams from two different hospitals) affirmed what was happening to her.
It is a special level of hell watching your child morph from a beautiful little girl into and androgynous looking male.
At 18, my daughter embraced what was happening and transitioned. She paid for her own surgery. We resisted as long as we could, never giving up prayer or hope that God could cure her. When she became an adult, the decisions were on her to make.
Less than 1% of the population suffers from her particular genetic defect and only 10% of those experience her side effects. Her condition is very rare.
The big push to transition kids is doing grave harm to children. Despite being a parent to a trans child and knowing the heartache they go through, I believe anyone encouraging children to do this is evil. If they are truly trans, they will do it on their own as an adult.
1) Your situation is difficult. There are many difficult situations. I don’t pretend to understand them.
2) One cannot “transition”; the whole concept is a lie. She is not male. “Surgery” does not change that.
3) May God bless, guide, and protect you and all your family.
You have every right to feel anger, but it should be directed at the people who did this to you instead of giving you time (the entirety of puberty and adolescence) to see if you still felt the same way. This is sick. You were groomed to make sure you’d be done before you had a chance as an older teen or adolescent to make a wiser decision. This is not informed consent. The information you needed was withheld from you. Sue the doctors and therapists who prodded you into this.
But, but, minors aren’t allowed surgery! That’s what they told me!

For the doctors to use that term, top surgery, with her, they just put it in terms she could understand. I don’t see that as trying to downplay what is really going on.

No, they *are* trying to hide what is going on. They *never* use the clinical terms for the surgeries.
When my children were toddlers, the big thing was to teach them to use the “correct” terms for genitals and breasts.
But they *always* use top surgery and bottom surgery (the latter is not a term to look more like Kim Kardashian!) to downplay what they are really doing. Double masectomy sounds a lot more serious than top surgery. Orchiedectomy and penile inversion sound much more serious than bottom surgery.
Never, ever assume a leftist is mutilating the language for a good reason. Look at everything they do and realize there is always a bad reason for it. Many of course are just going along, but those making the decisions do not have anyone’s good interests at heart except their own agenda’s.
These children have been groomed/brain washed by perverts. I can understand some mentally ill parents not being able to stand up to the bullying, but they are weak minded people who sacrifice their children out of fear.
