I've tried several of my favorite sites and they are down right now, including Amazon.
Freerepublic and facebook are up, however.

I’m not serious but when you turn nearly any product (phone, tv, music system component) you see Made in China.
If China is having a head cold (rumors of Xi) then the world could catch a serious illness.

8.8.8.8 got me nowhere. I assumed it was something on my end until Amazon told me “It’s not you. It’s us.” and then “itisup” worked, and told me the sites were down. Yet Yahoo and Freerepublic were fine. I’ll reset the repeater and see what happens...

Yep. Youtube never stopped for me.
But it turns out that it WAS on my end. I was thrown off my Amazon saying it was on their end, and isitup working, but telling me the sites were down, when they were not.
Now I know not to trust either.
