Radicalized is not the correct phrase, but now it’s growing in popularity probably for political purposes.
Personally I think Obsessed, and Paranoid are the correct terms when a person reaches the level that drives one to murder his own family.
Walled Lake is a middle class suburb of Detroit.
Of interest.
Keep in mind a 21 year old young woman lost her parents and her sister is severely wounded, so her statements are from a broken devastated heart.
There is always a small percentage of the population that only needs some delusional group to feed their paranoia until they go “bat-shit-crazy.”
Mental illness can affect anyone at all in society.
Some people commit violence, and the media says it is because of “white supremacy” and “hate”.
Other people commit violence, and the media says it is because of “QAnon” and “radical politics”.
But I don’t think the media ever finds a violent crazy person who was ruined by “Progressive ideas” and “wokeness”. Because those things are always double-plus good.
Or she could be repeating what she hears in the mainstream media everyday, because Q means Trump supporters, MAGA, and are prone to violence. People talk about this stuff all the time on alternative social media, and they don’t kill off their families. It’s another underlying problem.
When freedoms are removed, as they were in the pandemic mandates and lockdowns,it is the most vulnerable and sensitive among us who will break first.
But most of the country is now fuming at what the governments did to us.
Beyond this article it’s important that Big Pharma and their forced vaxxine effort be protected.
Walled Lake man fatally shot after killing his wife, dog, and injuring daughter
Igor?
Funny...his last name is an anagram for SLAIN.
Trump didn't either.
This is a red herring. The movement might attract people who are disturbed, though. It doesn't appear to encourage harming others.
However, Antifa actually does encourage threatening or harming others, and its participants arrive at its rallies prepared to be both physically protected or shielded and made anonymous through complete clothing coverage. They also have obvious weapons.
“Q-Anon” people arrive at rallies with plenty of skin showing and possibly a US flag, some face paint, or a cardboard sign. They appear to support the country, while Antifa vehemently hates the country.
However, I do agree some “Q-Anon” people get verbally and even mentally unhinged in dealing with others they wrongly perceive as somehow “evil,” but it hasn't seemed they resort to physical violence against people.
I wasn’t really paying attention while I was visiting my sister, and BIL Sunday afternoon in Walled Lake, but she mentioned that her husband was woken by the gunshots. I didn’t think much of it until I heard it reported on local news the next day. Walled Lake is a nice area, but these things can happen anywhere I suppose.
i read this too sounds like the guy was crazy and fixated.
There are people I have known who are schizophrenic (not saying this case at hand involves this specific illness). They had obsessions with various things and people. One with then Prince Charles and the Gov of PA, one with the Virgin Mary and with Jews. The latter may well have been violent, though I recall more cases of vandalism with him. Then there was a man I knew who was schizophrenic, though he was violent, and would physically attack women.
Was former Ambassador Madeline Halfwit a dangerous extremist? She believed Bush kept Osama on ice to reveal his death when needed for political gain. Is Hillary a dangerous extremist, she still says Russia helped Trump steal the 2016 election.
If he thought of conspiracies, why kill your family?
Not a follower of QAnon because it was wrong about so much at the beginning so I found it fantastic. Don’t understand the reason for killing family because of QAnon.
To many on the left, Q Anon, MAGA supporter, conservative, Republican are just a stereotype which bears no relation to reality. The left can quote each other endlessly and call it fact-checking.
The advice I would give to everyone is to go to original sources and form your own judgment. For example, I took a course “Radical Political Economics” many decades ago. I read modern socialists and Karl Marx. They were all presented positively by the professor, who provided supplementary material. It took me a while to decide, but basically, it’s all trash.
Most of my training in economics was neutral. However, since there was a hard-hitting left-wing course, there should have been a course that countered that. It would feature writings by Hayek, Mises and others. I had to discover these authors after graduation.
Was Q, Q Anon, or the Q continuum, responsible for killings. In a word, No. Might a liberal daughter choose to blame Q etc? It is certainly possible. Everything is political to the left, even the weather.
Democrat scum are laying the groundwork to criminalize conservative speech and guns.
I’m sure the guy was totally stable before he got into politics. /s
The daughter sounds like she is apolitical /s
Had he been obsessed with TDS we'd never hear about it.
No one has yet pointed out that the daughter, just hours after finding out her parents were dead and her sister severely injured, got on Reddit and blamed it all basically on Trump.
So the father had a Q obsession and the 21 year old daughter has TDS.
She’ll probably run for some democrat office soon.
“Q made me do it”. 😏
And add schizophrenic....
I sadly watched my best friend's brother, who was around 30 years old, develop schizophrenia. It's a horrible disease that affects every member of the family.....
In my friend's brother's case, he lost his business, lost his wife, lost his home and in the beginning he ended up living on a beach in northern Michigan until fall arrived and my friend was able to get the brother institutionalized for a period of time.
