EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

Thanks, but it has more to do with my starter words than anything else. With the right two words, it seems the third one just drops in of its own accord.
But fours aren’t too bad, right, Allegra?
At least it’s not X/6!

Yes, it’s designed that way because of the “Share” feature, so one doesn’t give away the answer on open forum to those who have not yet played the day’s game.
There are days when it’s a lot tougher than one would think.

Good morning Wordle Fans!
It’s a toasty 25° out and I’ve not enjoyed my sample so I want to cancel my subscription to winter.
Today’s effort was easier than I first expected it to be, so here it is.

Good morning. Did you have a good night?
The sun is shining and it’s going to be a nice day, but it’s still going to be very cold.

Not too bad, thanks. Second day in a row that I slept until 7. It’s as if I was tired.
Music went pretty well today. We had a success with a challenging song, which always builds one’s confidence.

I never thought music/singing was hard, but we had one chorister (maestro, he was) who actually had us sweating before our performance was worthy of his leadership.

Sometimes a melody is counter-intuitive and I have to listen to it over and over to get it in my head. This is not a problem so much when I have sheet music, but we learn a lot of Spanish songs from recordings and don’t have the notes for them.

I can see where that is a problem. I was never good at reading notes. I can follow them if given the key, but sometimes, I just have to list to the part all the way through, then with the alto or soprano and then with three and I’m OK.
I have no clue where I lost the ability to read music, but it was sometime after I got married.

The downside is that I’ll be hearing this song in my head for days, until I replace it with the next one I need to learn.

Off to do laundry in a bit. I was sleeping so well and a text came in at — you guessed it — 2330. PW told me she hoped I was feeling better after not going to church. Kind of her, but at almost midnight?
